As someone pointed out they're carrying a bench hooker and a winger, should be decent minutes on offer.

Young and Whitehead play 80, Sutton plays 50.

Guler spells Papalii. Tapine probably doesn’t play 80 at prop so some minutes there perhaps

I’m not overly sure how interchanges and minutes work but where does CHN come in?

Guler come on and moves Tapine to lock?

    Hodgson moves to Lock now.

I don't know how it'll work but probably got to play him this week so why not hope.

It does seem very kneejerk trading him out at this point, but being over 700K and a potential Cleary on offer makes the discussion worthy. His BE is low enough that he should at least not lose too much coin. The only reason I may look at trading him is that he'll be in my 17 if I don't, but I've had worse.

Does anyone think cini could be a late in for mbye and mbye moves to the bench for his usual role spelling liddle ?

Papenhyuzen gonna be juicy once he gets that starting role back but I think whoever brings him in a week before everyone else is going to get a big points reward.

Seems like a stretch, maybe this week if they lose. Could also move Nofo to FB and cini to wing if they start bad. Real lottery the tigers team.

    I know I said I wouldn't trade a player back in that I traded out but Avo now looks like his scoring should increase again with both Flanno and Lewis gone.  Dogs have a decent draw too. With 3 trades, I'm even thinking a safer play with something like;

    Laurie - Ponga
    Fog - Avo

Means Hynes and CHN stay for the year but 1 trade left and plenty of cover across the board.  Means no Cleary but this is tempting.  Other option over Avo is Josh Pap or Tapine, hell even Riki.  Just makes sense to do something with Laurie if I can I think.  Could cost points wise down the track however. Although saying that, I have 17 green dots this week and we can see how easily we can be down players. This strategy hopefully helps cover other issues in the coming weeks. Putting all eggs in one basket for Cleary could be a masterstroke or you could have Cleary but have weeks playing with 14 or 15 players. Tough one. Fortune favours the brave though.

Lots of ideas this week and uncertainties.

I'm grabbing him this week. Would rather get his points than Schoupp and the cash drop doesn't help me since it's my last trade

I've been holding out for Cleary and he's named in the 21 but the more I hear people make points about why would they bother risking him the more I'm changing my mind.

There's no difference to finishing 2nd or 3rd this year as there's no home ground advantage. They're still in contention for the minor premiership and Cleary the Dally M but it's hardly worth the long game of the premiership.

Logically there's really no reason to play him until the last 2-3 rounds.

Maybe he'll play anyway but when I've got a few duds that have to go, I might lose out if I'm only waiting for Cleary.

Any ideas what to do here? Can still field 17 but it requires one of Hetherington or Verrills(will loop Savage)

    1 trade 420k bank

    Mahoney
    Haas Crichton AFB
    Matterson Fifita
    DCE ARey
    Olam Burton
    Teddy Turbo Walsh

    Moses
    CHN
    Hynes
    Savage

    Hetherington
    Verrills
    Brailey
    SCrit

Was thinking of Savage to Ponga/Grant but interested to see what others think. Might just hold this week

If you were trading a red dot to Cleary and have an 18th man, is there any reason not to lock him in with captaincy?

Like I get if its Hynes -> Cleary you may want to reverse, but someone like Laurie or Hunt it seems like its worth the upside of captaincy points versus the downside of going a week early.

I like this out of the box thinking, Avo looks the goods and should be back to 50 avg.

Aitken would be my choice - seems locked into playing EDG while listed as CTR, has the best floor and his ceiling was last week. Warriors edges always score well.

If it's a last trade I'd be tempted by Manu, but there's no value if you have other trades you could still use the cash for.
