Haven't been following Manu that closely, scoring well last 4 games against softer opposition,  has he been handed a roving commission or something  ?

It does appear that way, he is starved of possession on the wing.

Worth the punt I reckon for whatever it's worth.. Verrills seems good for 25-35 and never know, the spud could do a Trindall.

Ponga 45 seems very generous. Did fuck all, unless you count missing tackles which the stats guys clearly don’t.

You'll be happy to know he updated to 48 and credited with 2 MTs despite missing 3 in quick succession Very Happy

Was a bit of a sloppy one too, but I'll take it.

As an owner I'll take it, but he absolutely missed more than that. There were 2 in 20 seconds at one point, and those weren't the only ones.

Without even look at Verrills numbers, he doesn't appear to have many attacking stats

I think it's because our best asset is Teddy, followed closely by Manu and JWH/Angus and those guys demand a lot of ball. He seems to have been told to play the distributor much like Cook was earlier this year, and much less of a running threat, much like Cook last year.

    Scott Bailey @ScottBaileyAAP 6m
Tevita Pangai won't make his debut for Penrith on Saturday night. Has returned home to be with his wife for deeply personal and sensitive reasons. Club are supporting both of them.

Definitely not a case of misconduct or misbehaviour. Story on @AAPSport

Not sure if anyone has him still but sounds like a sad story

Nathan Cleary also OUT for Penrith tomorrow night against Roosters. Panthers still taking the cautious approach.

That may explain it, cause most no 9's like nothing more than being on the opposition's line and putting their big men over the stripe.

Boooo. Captain Haas and his 57 it is then. Bugger. Shame we didn't get this news this time yesterday. Hopefully he's back next week or I've wasted a 560k bank.

To be fair, I think many of you were a little too optimistic about Cleary actually playing this week given the actual information we had.
