Nathan Cleary also OUT for Penrith tomorrow night against Roosters. Panthers still taking the cautious approach.

Ah! That punt did not pay off.

Looks like I get Watson's 32 regardless, and double Haas' score.  At least Burton should see a better score than he was going to.

To be honest, the last 24 hours was probably the most fun of the whole season for me. No regrets, as dumb as that sounds.

Now I need to play 2 of: Bird, Mbye, Blore, Verrills

That’s my current order, anyone with other ideas?

Gotta risk it for the biscuit, even if the biscuit is like a milk arrowroot.

The curse of having much averageness, what to do with players like Burton.

Do you okay Burton over avarillo/bird. Does he get a spot on the bench over rapana, afb, CHN, cheese

Anyone reckon CHN is a chance of beating 32 from the bench?

I’d play blore over mbye. I don’t really know why though. Minutes seem hard to predict

I need to play 3 of.

Afb, rapana, cheese, CHN, Burton, hynes, Verrils.

    Reckon that’s the order?

Maybe Blore a bit higher, but much of a muchness.

Just hope Cleary is back next week or else the punt will look foolish. Hopefully the Roosters pump them.

I'm down to 17 too so any late outs will look even more foolish, but that's the way it goes.

I think Burton moves up the pecking order.  For me, AFB, Rapa and Burton.  Although you could argue to play Cheese over Burton. The luxury you have here is ridiculous.

I reckon he gets about 40mins. And will score between 28 and 37.

If you’re looking at looping, I think it’s worth the risk. Because he isn’t going to score in the teens. Pending a disaster. But has the ability to score 60+ In a short period. Ultimately won’t change a lot though.

The one time I captain a first week owner and it backfires

Thinking of maybe selling CHN now so I get a better replacement for Cleary. Currently would have CHN and Walsh coming in for Cleary and Peachey (+ Blore playing)

Yeah that's what I thunk, 32 is well below my risk threshold particularly at this time of year.......I'm going to play him

Everyone getting a run this week.....welcome to the field Croker & Verrills!! cheer

Worst case he scores 15pts. You’ve missed 17pts. Which is fuck all, when you compare the variations with captaincy options at the moment.

For another point of view, those of us that brought him back in and captained him, I'm thinking like this. If I didn't bring him in and lock him in, I'd be scrambling right now looking for alternate trades to avoid playing Watson and Verrills. That would take me down to 1 trade and no chance to get Cleary from here on out. I mean, as I said, as long as he's back next week, I'm not mad, if for some reason he has a set back, then yeah, we jumped the gun. But at this stage, I still it's still worth the risk and at the very least lock him in.

AFB, Rapana, then Cheese or Hynes depending on final Storm team ie if Hughes is out and Hynes set for 80 in the halves, I’d pick him. Burton also a decent shout. You have a lot of depth, good problem to have

Assuming Fog is out, who do people like out of Moses, Doueihi, or Munster? Will need a half to field 17 now.

Munster I'm worried about getting a rest, Moses worried about his draw. Doueihi with a soft draw and his dual would be very handy.
