It will be interesting to see how full teams can benefit. I mean, some rolling out 15 or 16 players, all it takes is an early HIA to someone in a full 17 to be on the same level. I know the week I had a full team and others didn't, copped Laurie's 0 and ended up behind the pack anyway. Another crap score from an extra player or two also hurts even more. If people with 15 or 16 don't have any stinkers, they probably don't lose much ground if any. All pure speculation though, I have no stats to back that up.

I don’t think it’ll have to much effect. All it takes is 1 big score in the 16 to cancel out a dud in the 17.
Don’t think 3 weeks is enough to see much movement

Agree. That's what I was trying to say, you just said it better.

Agreed, fielding 17 isn’t a guarantee that you’ll mar up the 80pts you desire on someone with 15. It’s one captaincy pick and one dud away from you losing 80pts not that same player. I’d just say you’d think the odds are in your favour though.

TL;DR if you have a trade, you are doing well
Based on my squinting at the graph, looks like 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th have 1 trade, 10 has 2.
2nd, 8th can field 17 without using trades.
4th can use last trade to get 17 too.
1st and 10th can use last trades to get 16 - same as 3rd
7th has 15.
6th, 9th have 14.
5th has 12.

There a team in raiders comp, has Angus, Harris, hunt, Laurie, SJ, Mahoney, Hughes, CHN and Turbo.
I’ll take a punt and say they have no trades

Over 1 week, yes. Over 3, law of averages should work?
Got to remember some of these 14, 15, 16s have some pretty average players in them too. Top 10 sides include Lawton and Beale, for example.

You can kinda tell by who they're carrying. Teams with Mahoney or Hunt might be hanging on with one trade. Obviously CHN, Turbo are new outs. Angus might be worth holding. But if you're carrying an earlier out like Harris (like above) or someone like SJ you ran out already 100%.

How did I miss this news, don't have him but I love Starling, shiiiiiiet.ynot wrote:Just going to run some numbers on the effect of carnage this week:
Is this a reasonable list of players who will more than likely be out next week and are yellow dots on the app at the moment? Mainly focusing on high-ish ownership players. Let me know if I've missed anyone.

Final trade -> CHN to Curran
970 for the round, climbing 500 spots to 2.3k.
Mission to beat Rabs, as if he beat me I’d be very angry and may throw a remote at the TV.

Sam Ayoub has to be the dodgiest manager getting around. I don’t think Gutho was even aware he’d be asking for 1m a season.
TBF top 5 average 970k and median (3rd highest paid) 930k. 1m overs but not that far off what he’s worth
