Idk Paps is really tempting this week. Storm won't win the premiership without him at 1 and they've got 3 more rounds to move everything into place for finals. He's also had 4 weeks to get back into it and should start and play 80 this week. It's a ballsy call to bring him in this week (I'll probably wait for next when he should be a straight swap for Blore)

On a non fantasy note though, I would hate to be Bellamy trying to figure out a spot for Hynes

Only have 43K but to think I could potentially get Paps next week for Laurie with my final trade is madness.

Haven't the Storm won every game this year where Papy isn't at 1, and only need to win two out of the last three to top the ladder?

I'm sure they'll want him at 1, but saying they can't win without him doesn't stand up.

Storm can win regardless of who is 1 and who is the utility. Would lean towards Bellyache keeping Hynes at 1.

I'm not Bellamy so can't talk for him but no way they lead into finals with Hynes at fullback then pull a switcharoo week 1. They've got the minor sewn up but building for a premiership you want the reigning Clive Churchill medallist at fullback lmao

Yes they'll still win games but Hynes isn't even close to the same league as Papenhuyzen so can't see why they wouldn't want the best players playing

    Wookiee whispers:
Expect Hynes to line up at FB, with Ryley Jacks at halfback.
Papy to get more minutes, and Hynes to switch to halfback once Papy takes the field

Nice, some early attacking stats then KM and TAs for an easy 89 points

Well I’m glad yesterday’s 10 hour shift and today’s 9hr shift are over now I can catch up on fantasy and all the Covid news....

For the round I scored 956 my rank went up from 2043 to 1960. First time back in the top 2000 for me since round 4. Macca, Walsh, Murray, Schuster, Fifita and Moses all underwhelmed whilst Ponga I expected a bit more from. But on a positive not C Turbo, Doueihi, Teddy, Ramien, DCE, Haas and Brailey all went well.

I have 1 trade left and 105k spare, I could trade Macca for Curran but I might wait til Sunday to make that decision to assess how much carnage there has been in the first 6 games of the round.

Team with 1 trade and 105k spare is:

    Brailey
    Haas Murray Ipap
    Fifita Schuster
    DCE Moses
    Ramien Manu
    Teddy Turbo Ponga

Doueihi Walsh Olakau’atu Macca (injured I know)
    Verrills Peachey Angus Suaali

    P. S for those I’ve been keeping updated you know who you are I closed the gap a bit more on Jax to me just having to make up just under 550 ranks now to get to that magic 1000 mark or less behind him. @wolfking you would not believe it but you are exactly 1000 ranks behind Jax which is what I need to get too so 93 points ahead of me so its very close now. I will be able to field 17 this week and have 1 trade left. Jax has no trades left and is down to 14 this week so I’m good odds now to win this bet.

    Cccmmmmmmmmmooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I can smell VICTORY!!!

970 for the round, climbing 500 spots to 2.3k.

Mission to beat Rabs, as if he beat me I’d be very angry and may throw a remote at the TV.

Can I ask the thought process in picking him up when still coming from the bench?  Genuinely intrigued.

Minutes were ramping up and thought he would be back starting. Had gone from 33 to 46 minutes before I grabbed him. When starting I thought he was the best scorer in his price range (~615k at the time)

Hasn't worked out because he has stayed on the bench but I think my reasoning was sound

It's going to be a long day of speculation, guess work and quotes from Wacko & NRL Physio. I might head back to bed. But first some player humour amusing themselves

1071, up to rank 315. Cleared out 2 red dots last week bringing in Curran and Cleary for Hunt and Tolo, leaving just chricton now as a red dot however that's my trades done, so awaiting the Avo and Turbo news and holding on tight for the last couple of rounds.

Ha, do you know how hard it is for a Wookiee to whisper?

Another possibility is for Papy to start at FB, Hynes at halfback, and after 50-60mins Papy to sub off, Jax to come on at halfback and Hynes to switch to FB.

or is Cooper Johns making an appearance?
