CHAMPIONS! How are we? Been a while since I have been around here.
I am currently 2nd and 273 points behind 1st in my work league. This equates to 91 points a week I need to pick up on him. I am fairly certain he has no trades left and will be forced into playing 16 players this week if Avo is out. He has Hughes (replaced with C.Walker), Avo (replaced with Peachey) and Turbo (replaced with Gutho). He has been very lucky with the run of form of blokes like Jackson, Curran and Deouihi scoring 70’s and 80’s recently, but I am hoping they can come back down to earth a little in the next few weeks.
I can field 17 this week; however, this is with a bench of Verrills, Grant, Hetherington and Scritta so not the juiciest looking interchange. I have 1 trade remaining and CHN, Turbo, Angus and Lolo in my EMG, so the temptation to grab a big ticket, high ceiling player is there but not sure if the smarter play is to hold… just in case.
With captain Cleary being a huge advantage on my end and a couple more consistent players than him I am slightly confident it will only take 1 good week from me and being an extra player up on him to really bridge the gap.
Lessgooo TLT!

Not Ponga, but my knee is fucked. Actually in hospital today getting an arthroscopy.
but arthritis has left me with essentially no cartilage, so even if everything goes well, I'm looking at seriously curtailing/stopping my sports participation.

Sorry to hear that Milch! Horrible stuff. My brother is going through something similar and has to retire from his footy.
Are you involved in coaching at all?

Still messed up, small quadriceps tendon tear, have had a few set-backs.
Have had to pause the rehab as it's been inflamed the last 2 days... so frustrating

I coach my sons soccer team.
See how op goes today. With the lockdown won't be any sport for a while anyway so have time to recover as best I can before everything starts up again.

Saturday is looking like one of the worst days of footy you could ask for.
Tigers v sharks
Dogs v knights
Parra v cowboys.
The only thing to make it worse would be Titans v warriors.

Having had something similar done 10 years ago all I can say is welcome to the 100 Kilo club champ!
Seriously though, swimming will be your best friend
