Bugger. Schoupp and Verrills into the loop then, until we get news that Avo is out too and I'm playing both anyway.

Thanks mate I fear for the neighbours tonight!

I’ve also got C DCE, Schuster, Haumole in the first game as well so I’ll be cheering them on too.

I am having oven pizza for dinner tonight too! Ice cream afterwards for dessert.

    Outrageous!

I have a legit question. Would anyone sit out Burton to get Peach's score over Verrills, Trindall, Blore or Watson? However, sitting out Burton means Manu goes into the 13 and I have no WFB cover for any late outs on Walsh or Ted?

Or just sub out Verrills and play Burton?

If Avo is out, I can still field 17. That 17th player would be James Roberts off the bench.

Shit if that were the case I think it'd almost be worth using my last trade to get somebody else in and running the gauntlet for the final 2 rounds.

I have no gall bladder so it’s better for me to not get dominos as it’s more greasy.

Also my Sister will be eating it with me tonight and she has the surgery on the ruptured cyst tomorrow and she said nah not dominos can you get frozen ones so I did!

    I’d probs sit Verrills out.

I guess it depends too if you think Burton scores a try tonight. If you think Burton is due a quiet one and won’t score a try then maybe play Verrills...

It’s a tight call. I can’t see Walsh or Teddy bring a late out.

Peachey's 53 was welcome last night but the biggest win at this stage of the season with a team of 15 is none of my players copping suspensions or injuries.

Verrills v Burton is a tight call to begin with imo, but with the extra risk of no cover I'd just play Burton.

Thanks guys. Can see Burton having a quiet one, but I'd be filthy if Ted gets a rest or something and I had points there I couldn't grab on a week I've actually got 17 playing. Might just hope Burton can score a meaty.

I missed the earlier discussion on "is Fifita lazy" Vs "Fifita is smart to preserve his energy".

To add to the debate: set out below is the average time between tackles for a number of second rowers (sorry, edge forwards) in 2021.

[Interpretation: Matterson makes a tackle every 2.1 minutes he is on the field]

    2.1mins:   Matto
    2.2mins:   Friz, CHN
    2.4mins:   Angus
    2.5 mins:  Sitili
    2.6mins:   Kolo, Lucy
2.9 mins:  Kikau, Schuster (just games he played 2nd row)

So the range of workhorses to those I'd suspect are lazy (or more kindly, short burst power athletes), ranges from making a tackle every 2.1 mins to a tackle every 2.9mins.

So, where do you think our good friend David Fifita sits??

Yep - a statistical outlier with a tackle every 3.2mins.

    Update.. Roberts is out
“Unfortunately, [James Roberts] won’t be playing this week. We pushed him but he won’t be in the team,” the coach confirmed.
