The Panthers probably win 75 percent of games no matter who the ref is
Just had a quick look at Rugby League Project
Under Atkins, Panthers are 16-8 since 2014 (66.7%)
Since 2014, Panthers are 114-68-1 overall (62.3%)

Mansour dropping the bomb was his own fault. Then he fucks up again and dives on the ground to avoid the ingoal. He put himself in a stupid position and paid the price. If they started rewarding that cat-like behaviour, I'd lose my shit. It's bad enough they get away with voluntary tackles already.

Mate did you not see Atkins block his line of sight? Clearly impeded!
Nicholls was behind the play the ball though when ball was played to Cook and he wasn’t within 10 metres of where the Panther picked the ball up, we see heaps of those every week let go and you never see the bunker ever get involved.WT Winfield wrote:Sorry Rabbits, but this ref blaming is ridiculous. You completely blame the refs for every loss, and even on wins you complain.. The reality is that the Panthers are and were the better team.
You're even pointing out a correct bunker call (the downtown penalty) and blaming them for applying a rule that is prevent slow, dumbass forwards like Nicholls from gaining an advantage for being purposely offside by a mile.

I believe in your conspiracy. Feel the pain, badge.standard-issue wrote:Tigers always seemed to cop it from Badger. Even though the rumour was he was actually a Tigers fan. Then we go and employ him afterwards to boot! Never looked at our win loss ratio with him though.
Although my conspiracy theory is we only have him at Concord so he can live first hand through the misery he helped contribute to.

I didn’t blame the ref when we lost by 50 to Penrith and Storm earlier this year at all. It’s hard enough to beat a great team in Penrith as it is without getting many calls at all makes it that much harder when you don’t get any rub of the green.

Love your par charts ynot!
Is there any way you can include the amount of teams that have played for each data set? IE: 223 teams have had 7 players played.
(if it's not too much trouble)

I posted the downtown rule last night mate. Nicholls was way infront of the play-the-ball when the ball was kicked. Therefore he is downtown and must not be involved in the play at all.
Sure it goes unnoticed sometimes, but the advantage gained is minimal compared to the clear advantage Nicholls had last night, being involved in the defensive line and ultimately picking up the loose ball. Hopefully a lesson learned for the finals.
