It's not a TO if they don't turn the ball over.. and they scored because of it anyway. Not much of a try save if it is.

He stopped the player trying to score by stripping it in the act of scoring. doesn't matter what happens after that.

In your rulebook maybe.

If you're holding the guy up over the line and he gets it out to a teammate who scores, you don't get a TS. It's basically the same scenario.

He didn't pass it, was ruled Teddy successfully stripped the ball in a 2 man tackle, which was legal as he was in a try scoring motion. Doesn't get any clearer that he stopped the ball carrier scoring by stripping the ball.
