The fact you were calling for a TO when Dragons regathered says it all. Again, it's not much of a try save when the strip led to a try immediately.

Sounds like poor wording from FanHub. I could be wrong, but it seems they're scoring it more like "a tackle that forces the ball-carrying team to lose possession"

Players can lose points for missed tackles that aren't a miss for any meaningful sense of the word.
A strip is still a strip, even if they don't end up getting the ball back. The stat is for the stripping action, not whatever happens afterwards

Stats are so random neither would surprise me. I haven't been looking closely all year to know what sort of things they reward. But based on the rules it was a turnover

Daily reminder that Fanhub aren't in control of the stats, they just get a feed from the official stats that they turn into fantasy points.

I'm aware. FanHub wrote the rule though and it's worded poorly if that's not how it's being applied.

A strip isnt a strip if it isnt successful (ie you steal possession), just like an offload isnt an offload if you throw it into the stands

It got given as an error which makes sense because it was an unsuccessful strip that went back to the opposition
