The only dodgy part of that tackle was that Munster got away with it - no penalty, no report.
Typical NRL ref stuff-up.
"Player welfare is our biggest concern." (Magic Round)
"Yeah...nah. It's the finals. The players are tough. They can handle a hit to the head." (Prelim)
Pull your head out NRL.
It would have been a different story if Luai hadn't turned around and went in face first.

Luai will cop a fine for not disclosing he "blacked out" to the doctors and we'll forget about it.
Such is the NRL.
As they've shown time and time again this season - player welfare is important until it effects the bottom line.

In a regular-season game I have no doubt that Cleary would have been off ten minutes before full-time after reeling out of a tackle and getting up rocky on his feet. It's clearly only about welfare up to a point...

Surprise, surprise - the Warriors are doing everything they can to try and offload Kane Evans.
Sounds like there's a good chance he'll be playing in England next year.

Panthers I feel are going to run riot over Souths. Their defence against Manly was awful, all Manly had to do was hold the ball and get down the other end and they looked like scoring every set. Panthers know how to get down the field and have too many players that will exploit those holes.

Worst pick up in years for Warriors. Has never been a quality first grader. Total meathead.filthridden wrote:Surprise, surprise - the Warriors are doing everything they can to try and offload Kane Evans.

I know that’s aimed at me but it doesn’t phase me I’m very proud to say I’m a very loud and vocal Bunnies diehard and will renew my membership til the day I die. I’ve been a ticketed member since 2011 now. If I lived in QLD I’d have been at all the finals and the GF for sure I’d swing off the roof if I had to to get in. People have different ways of supporting mate some more quiet some on the other end like very loud and boisterous it doesn’t mean we are bad people we all have different ways of supporting. If you think I’m loud you should come to Sydney and sit with the Burrow in a game if you think I’m over the top you’ll have another thing coming when you sit in there.wolfking wrote:
Thanks mate. Don't forget to cheer them on for Jele too, another one of the non dickhead supporters haha.
I sat through many many many losses growing up and got badly bullied as a kid supporting Souths so when the good times come like now it just means so much.
Heck when the Tigers make the 8 I will be happy for their faithful and when the Eels win a premiership too which I hope is soon as my cousin supports them and has MS and he wears his heart on his sleeve for his Eels loves them so much.

This is my take too.
I think finals week 1 was Souths GF, and I don’t think they can do that again.
Those last two tries by Manly, yeah they didn’t matter for that game, but they did in the wider scheme of things. No way Panthers or Storm allow a team those late tries like that.
I guess the question you have to ask yourself is - is Moses Suli unstoppable? If the answer is no (it is) then Luai and Kikau are going to have an absolute field day.

Pretty standard 19yo w/cash moves there. Do they have section 10s in Qld? She’ll be right.

Those last 2 tries were when we clocked off and Reyno was off the field. It’s no secret that edge is much weaker when Reyno is off.robelgordo wrote:

I’m not concerned anyway as in 2014 we also leaked 2 late tries and then went on to win.

I cannot stand the Storm, personally. Proven cheaters and don't play in the spirit of the game. Only play for themselves to the detriment of the game. And I hate Souths supporters.
Souths beat Panthers by 6, Panthers are the most exciting brand of football in the comp I'd love to see it.

Hey Rabbit, this is what my post was referring back to pal, not you whatsoever, so don't call me out that I'm calling you a dickhead. Was simply a generalized statement based on these generalized statements.
