I'm not keen on any cowboys backs but the 1st 4 games the Cowboys have 3 home games & the other is v the broncos
I was reading about the draw early on & Storm, Eels & Roosters have the best draw so I don't mind having Coates & Suaalii as 2 of my 3 wfb's because those 3 top attacking could teams could benefit Coates & Suaalii with tries. Also Coates & Suaalii are big humans & could benefit from the new points re escape from in goal

I've seen a few drafts with Burton & Aitken in & imo there's too many sacrifices being made re a solid 17

Out of personal interest I tried a Burton and Aitken draft quickly and came up with
Randall
Haas Uto DWalker
Capewell Aitken
Cleary Burton
Crichton Suaalii
Pap Paulo Coates
Hastings Ilias RFM Blore
1.1m spare for reserves
Backs are weak for sure but it could definitely be done, especially with a favourable TLT

He has scored over 70 in 50% of his first grade starts.
And he has a cool name.

More seriously on Savage - his price is reduced because of the game where he was put on as 18th man incorrectly so subbed off again shortly after.
Only 2 games sample size but 26 and 73 are good scores for a guy priced under 30.

Savage is a clear pick at the moment in the hope that he'll be FB in Round 1. He probably won't be, but there are a *lot* of 350k players to switch him to.

Autofill team is set, mostly.....

Hayden Knowles must be a knights fitness trainer & previous panthers fitness trainer & he said this on Randall...he's the fittest player he's ever trained. He said he never thought anyone would be fitter than Dylan Edwards but Randall has just beaten Edwards' results from last year.
Does this fit the criteria for training the house down.

I wish for my fantasy team perspective but I think it will be CNK. I have CNK pencilled into my team at the moment as I think he is a bit underpriced due to shortened games returning from injury.
It was is my first draft and I’m sure there will be 15 more, so I’ll see if he makes the cut.
Happy New Year all, excited to be back.

CNK definitely on my shortlist. Clearly 8-9 pts underpriced
Savage is on my shortlist for the Macho Man GIF value:

That seems a bit ambitious to me.
With 2 point TBs he has never averaged over 40 for a season. There's a bunch of guys $80-$100k cheaper who I think are just as likely to match his scores.

Anyone here rate Josh King as a cheapie? 319k is a bit more than most cheapies but by all accounts he's been killing it in pre-season training and there's a huge hole in the Storm pack with Finucane gone, Kamikamica being stood down and NAS being an antivax idiot.
Round 1 I would imagine King plays lock, then back to the bench in round 2, but going off his scores last year, he only needs 35ish mins to average 35-40, and is priced at 28. Given our lack of middle forwards, I think he's a good chance to get those minutes, or potentially more since Cheese would be taking Finucane's minutes so someone would have to fill his own spot on the bench.
