I reckon Aitken has huge potential to let everyone down who picks him. Definitely unproven in his position and at his current price could cost a fair bit of initial salary for a decent loss in coin.

If he starts poorly there he could easily be bumped out for someone else and then you have a high priced CTR/EDG scoring as well/worse than the cheaper CTRs and a lot lower than the other EDG options at his price.

My pick for that is Ilias. Walker has shown he is a very capable kicker and will be the dominant half, like Keary started last season. In his only game in first grade he scored 31 points including a try, with 5 missed tackles.

Has averaged 22 fantasy points in NSW cup, including 2 goal kicks per game, taking his actual average down to 18.

Add in that he has really poor job security, with Taaffe just as likely to get the 7 jersey when Latrell returns and you have an absolute lemon, owned by 34% of teams. Smile

I don't actually disagree with all the points above. Just wouldn't surprise me if McInnes came out and gunned it and we're all like, "Bang of course!" which is the question Matt asked.

On Cleary, I also have him regressing about five points. But in deciding whether or not I start with him I'm going to assume he maintains his average. He certainly could, and as Easy Tiger said you can lose your season from the start if it doesn't pay off. I still haven't made a team properly yet though, so we'll see.

Fitzy was a much better player that Mcinnis. Bit of fantasy goggles on, plus a bit of the fact that he was the only one who put in any work at the Dragons, but it was still a very bad team.

I mean, if you're going to pick someone who can score large instead of Cleary if they get an 80-minute role then I'd look at Difita long before CM9/13.

Absolutely, it's an imaginery story - talking about effort not skill Smile

Yeah, if I'm not on Cleary, Fifita is probably the next one up, especially if last season wasn't a red herring and he's a bit of an early season performer (goes hard while the body feels good, but then fades as the niggles grow across the season) - averaged in the 70's through to the first bye from memory
