I imagine cotric could be a good choice, was shit and bled cash at the doggies. If he gets back to being good at raiders, could be a fairly simple pick up

Feel like CNK & Savage might end up similar to RTS/Walsh last season and Savage might get FB role early/mid season - CNK could gain some early cash but might become quick trade

Cotric got hammered by the TB decrease losing 4-5 points but probably more of a worker than guys around that price (Coates, Paulo, Suaalii etc)

The only way savage gets in early to mid season is if cnk goes down, or they play savage out of position. The talk of him playing over cnk is absolutely ridiculous.

There are literally no good arguments for it to happen, except. “Oh savage was quick and played okay when he filled in when cnk was injured”

Cnk goes down Injured and the raiders fell to shit. An unproven rookie returning from injury will not be an improvement unless there Is injuries.

Ahh yeah the tbs. Forgot about that. Still, from memory he was nearly base price. Not behd

If we do happen to get games moved/cancelled like what happened with BBL, I'm sure Harvey Norman or whoever will come through with some spare trades.

fingers crossed, if this pandemic has taught me anything it's to never have any expectations, ever haha. And it's also taught me to never expect Harvey Norman to show generosity either

100% agree with this on CNK. Anyone thinking Savage is going to start as fullback is wishfully thinking, sorry lads.

Cotric is a maybe for me, at $369K and a dual position he doesn't look too bad. There are a lot of options in that price range, just pick the one who'll score the most tries. I'll tell you who it is at the end of the season.

Who are the lesser owned players that you think we will all look back on in a few weeks and think, it was so obvious that we should have started with them this season?

I am trying to work out if Titans are planning to have someone new take on the Peachey role as a ball playing lock off the bench. Liu has arrived, but isnt that style of player.

If they plan to have a similar game plan to last year, whoever gets that role should be really good value.

Mann will be highly owned if he's named at 13 and gets MID DPP. If he's 14 and just a HLF then not sure he's worth it anyway, doesn't have the upside of Watson in same role and plenty of other cheaper halves around.

Hastings might be a Townsend or might be a Lam...

Think a lot of the kick-yourself regrets will be around ignored guns Cook/Angus/Teddy if they start the season well.

I've got Tanah Boyd and Will Smith on my watchlist just in case, assuming that Clark gets 9. Smith would be ideal actually if he got that role, you could almost chuck him into your starting wfb round 1

They may realise they have one of the best props in the game and give 'em 55-60 mins.

I think it's just fantasy coaches hoping they will get a cheap option.

When CNK was fit he was on the fringes of top 5 fullbacks performing at a similar level to Gutho. If he can get back close to that level no chance he gets moved

Looking at the lower owned guys Fermor stands out to me. Real chance he starts on the edge and out performs his price.

Wade Graham very under priced if he stays on the field but that has already been covered

Few interesting fallen guns in that range as well. Matterson the cheapest he has been in a while, loves an offload and slightly under priced if he returns to 80 minute games.

If we assume Panthers are in for a more competitive year Yeo could pick up an extra 10 minutes per game like 2020 and be right back in the hunt for gun mid spots

I am hearing that you can get Omicron multiple times, from overseas studies. Seems that getting it once won't stop players from getting it again this season.

Current first lineup, please let me know your thoughts.

    Grant (will not play R1)
Uto Peach (given the lock role) James
    Aitken Blore
    Cleary Ilias
    Tago Lomax
    Papy CNK Coates

Taffe Suaalli Randall (R1 hok) SCrichton
    KHetherington King Davey Howarth

    - I'm thinking Davey and Howarth might get decent roles throughout the season, which will save me a trade and generate some coin.
    - I really want Lomax in my team. I see him as 5-10 points under priced, think this one will be controversial
    - I have 177k ITB, so can probably get Hastings who I know I'm missing. Anyone else obvious I've overlooked? I don't really understand the love for TPJ if anyone can clarify that for me.

Second this. Looking at his 2021 stats at 2nd row, he averaged 37 points in tackling/metres alone. He's priced at 36. If he locks down a 60+ minute edge role, he's for sure 10 points under priced.

Assuming he is an 80 minute 2nd row, he is underpriced based on some bench appearances last year.

He looks to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the new offloading points system

    Cheapest of the DPP/MID guns

Not expecting millions in profit, just at the moment looks to be the best value of the 50+ forwards.
Pre-season may well throw up some more options
