    Luke Brooks has been taking down the architecture in Concord I've heard. Think I might've read it about Hess too. Just the usual suspects.

    Ivan speaking on Big Sports Breakfast;

    "Nathan is on track, he hasn’t had any setbacks and he has gradually been reintegrated. We are feeling pretty good about his chances at the start of the year as well."

    Additionally, Ivan on the available Centre position;

    "One kid though is Izack Tago, who I think played half a dozen games last year, and he is a local boy out here. He’s a back-rower but we actually threw him into the centres at various stages last year and he looked really good there.

    "He played NSW Cup season before it finished last year and was outstanding, so we are feeling like he is ready to give centre a real crack.

    "I’m pretty confident he will handle it pretty well."

    TLDR: Looks like $334k Tago is looking increasingly likely to partner Crichton in the Centres

    Here are my thoughts on Tago from a few days ago for anyone interested.

    MS 25th of Jan wrote: Been in my team since open and will stay there if named to start round 1.

    Deceptively strong through the hips makes him hard to tackle. Good right foot step to get on the outside of his man. Tends to carry the ball in his right arm and palm with the left which isn't ideal for a left centre since it means primarily palming across his body. Got enough pace to finish a try if he gets into space and soft enough with his hands to set up a support player. Not an athletic freak like a Stephen Crichton.

    Did I mention he plays for probably the second best attacking team in the league?

    I think he is more talented than Taylan May and just needs a solid preseason to lock down the spot

    If they all start - looks like most people will have Cleary, Crichton and Tago

    Is that enough Panthers players - if worst happens and covid leads to a game getting postponed/cancelled don't want to be too impacted by any one club

    McInnes role has been clarified by him
    https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/hell-find-out-now-sharks-recruit-spills-on-brutal-gallen-blow-opens-up-on-his-new-role/news-story/5e51d07481ce5f7c440e6ddce3c57a6c

    It was clarified at the time that he would play lock and McInnes has since confirmed that’s still very much the plan.

    “When I was signed it was as a middle that can provide hooker cover and that’s how I’ve been training,” he said.

    “Where that fits, whether it’s starting or on the bench, whatever it is I’ll do a lot of work in that middle role and then a bit at hooker.

    “If ‘Brails’ can play every game every year, we need him to do that, he’s so influential. But if I need to spell in at times for whatever reason, I can.”

    Just read an article on DT cant get it to load though, I could copy and paste it but don’t wanna piss people off on font size or a long article etc......

    Essentially it says Cookie wants to take more responsibility with Reyno gone and will be looking to find his running game again and express himself more.

    Well if he passes your eye test it would be silly of me not to put him in my team

    Why did Cook get a price bump?

    2021 avg was 59.4
    priced at 61.6 in 2022

    Should make fantasy 22 as well right.

    Although that would require adjusting prices and/or the cap.

    Maybe too hard now

    The time for an unsubstantiated rumour about the best fantasy player is Thursday before R1, training mishap etc… that’s where the real panic sets in. This was way too early.

    Pricing is weird. Players that made more offloads than TBs would see a small bump, but that doesn't apply to Cook.

    Just take it as a sign to avoid him.
