Just wondering is there going to be a ladder predictor and Autofill comp this year?

Pereira lw outside farnworth & cobbo rw outside staggs...i would say the right edge will see more attacking ball than the left edge as staggs is the go to on atttack & he likes setting up his wingers.

It’s the other way around according to training https://mobile.twitter.com/markgottlieb/status/1489032362629677057?s=21

    Left looked pretty solid
    - Cobbo
    - Farnworth
    - Capewell

Right more up in the air
    - Pereira
    - B.Lee (Staggs not training)
    - Piakura (Riki not training)

Oates, Isaako and Robati spent the whole session in the other team.

I mentioned this before but I am not sure how to go about it. The women's comp starts a bit earlier than the regular season and is only 5 rounds. Does anyone know if they keep the same stats for the NRLW. I would be keen to investigate how to do a mini-fantasy for the NRLW season

    I'd be in.

There are fantasy stats available for the 2020 season. Should be able to construct player pricing from it.

There are stats on the main NRL page but not in a disaggregated form. I wonder if they would update them iive and where we could get the raw data

In games off the bench with 50+ minutes, he averaged 44 last season, which makes him 10 points under-priced. Every chance that he gets the starting role at some point as well, which would increase his average to 54.

Currently owned by 4% and unlikely to increase if named on the bench (may even decrease). Likely to be a big regret for many this season.

I'm/was pretty bullish on him also. Might have talked myself out of him on a few points. #1 he's a thug (Stick wont like that) #2 I don't think Hodgson will play 80 with that pack or may not be moved to lock at all #3 Clark and Randall starting.

Seems too risky, but I still wanna go for it.

I will have Randall as well. Clarke seems to have limited upside. Similar price point, but averages only 38 when starting hooker.

Worst case, each player has fantasy stats available like this https://www.roosters.com.au/teams/womens-premiership/sydney-roosters-women/brydie-parker/

43 in over 50 mins but that's an average of 64mins. Less risk for the 10 points value might be the play. Jump on Starling if he gets a start.

I'm not sure about Starling, he likes to disturb the peace at pubs in NSW and nearly get arrested. That, and his role is unclear. It could pay off starting with him but I don't think I will.

Not enough detail for a fantasy competition though

Just need the fantasy average for each player to construct pricing to start the season, then use the scoring provided for each game after that.

Evening all, The Bludger here. I got a new computer from work and completely forgot my old log-in details, so I've had to register again. Hope everyone has had a good break and avoided any Omicrom carnage. Anyone care to give me a quick (just the facts) update on which players are being toted as great value..."training the house down" etc.

Saw Richie Kennar back in photos training for Souths today looks like he’s either signed for the year or on a train and trial arrangement.

He goes ok and we are short on wingers he would add solid depth.

Haven't the Raiders strengthened their pack this season? Most the time Starling got big minutes off the bench the Raiders also carried an outside back on the interchange, or Ryan James who got like 13 mins.
Im not sure Hodgson plays as many mins at lock this season

The only problem with the theory at the start of the season (or at least pre-trials), is trying to work out what a favourable fixture is.

For example, it seems the Broncos are noted above which is probably based on last season, as opposed to this season where they are likely a Top 4 team...

    Broncos Top 4 ?

Willing to take you on with that one.

They'll be lucky to make the Top 8
