Tell you what if Josh McGuire was fit enough to start against Wigan then he should be ready and raring for rd1. May have to drop Bromwich for him though

I thought he would be getting eased in off the bench considering the type of injury and length of lay off

Ill try and find an article I read a while back where he said if there was a game on tomorrow he would be starting. I think Thaiday offers more from the bench anyway so McGuire should be starting come round 1. We will see I guess...

I think James Roberts is still a goer, he was quite tonight because Hunt was playing.

    Especially with Gilletts offloading ability.

Id expect a lot of shifting to Gillett in space who offloads it to a barnstorming Roberts as something that will happen a lot.

Will also get a lot of try and line break assists I believe to put the winger in because of the space his speed will generate.

That post match video analysis stuff with coach/player is fascinating. Has me glued to the tv.

Trent Robinson yesterday and Darius Boyd today. Something Fox Sports/Channel 9 should incorporate into their post match wrap up.

@Loomer, i picked these up off the dragons twitter feed (approx):

    LAM: 0-14; 50-74 = 38 mins
    Rein: 0-34; 60-75 = 49 mins
    Packer; 0-14; 33-55; 74-80 = 42 mins
    Matthews: 0-32; 60-80 = 52 mins
    JT: 0-60 = 60 mins
    Cooper: 0-24; 55-80 = 49 mins
    JDB: 14-60 = 46 mins
    Creagh: 24-50 = 26 mins
    Marketo: 60-80 = 20 mins
    Havili: 34-60; 75-80 = 31 mins
    McCarthy: 32-80 = 48 mins
    Lui: 14-33 = 19 mins

Not sure how much you can read into it tbh. All the main forwards' numbers would be a little down because of the extra interchanges/extended bench.

I make that as 13 interchanges, so well above NRL. But nice to look at anyway

In the Eels v Panthers Matagi got a great review & apparently was impressive. McKendry was demoted to NSW cup & I'm not sure but RCG might be injured atm but not sure so maybe he starts but probably on bench.
Lawrence will start on bench but he has greater competition for a bench spot.
Matagi priced at 21 points & Lawrence at 22 but I reckon Matagi will get more minutes.
Lawrence has proven nrl experience whereas Matagi hasn't.
Lawrence probably has the edge but it probabaly depends on team lists i.e, if Matagi starts go with him but if on the bench go with Lawrence.

yeah that's what I was thinking. In seven games last year matagi's ppm was 0.89. If he starts he could be pumping out 40's but if on the bench lawrence might be better
