Agree Milch, surely he is now also the go to player in that knights back row without Scott and Tapine

@ KFP. I've been considering Sironen as well. He's much bigger & stronger this year & I watch the trial & he was really hitting it hard on every hit up. Your not going to find many guaranteed 80 minute players at a price of 284k.

Sironen has so far stolen a career off the back of his dad's name, that is in reality, in fantasy terms he is far worse! for an 80 min back rower he stinks, worse than Trex and only slightly better than Sam Tagatese

Sironen is fantasy poison. He scores poorly and steals minutes off genuine fantasy potential players

Trap in my opinion. His workrate is pretty atrocious for an 80 minute back-rower but looking at his scores for 2015 there were 4 straight games where he managed 40+ and he'd occasionally bust a lot of tackles but the fact he has a few scores under 30 playing the whole game probably doesn't make him the most reliable option.
Not enough upside for the risk but hey if you've got a feeling on him just pick him. If it comes off you'll be laughing at everyone else.

If you can overlook Kyle Turners injury history he offers more value for mine at 258k your getting him at a genuine 1975 pricetag.............

Sironen was actually quite good for about 2 months or so at the back end of whatever season he first cracked the starting team.
Maybe not fantasy good, but was a useful and promising NRL player. Then we had an off season and he has under performed ever since.

Turner is someone on my watchlist, with Surgess surely guaranteed 80 mins how many does Turner get? Has played big minutes in the past but not sure how the addition of Sam effects that? and his injury history is horrifying

Not locked in, but definitely under consideration.

    Edit to clarify.
Certainly I don't think Rochrow will lose value, which is a good start. For someone that price though I probably want the potential for bigger points/price rises than what I think Rochrow will give.
Whilst I'm comfortable with him being and to score 40, I don't see it being much better than that. So he is only borderline useful to my team.
If nobody better turns up though, he'll be in.

He made a couple games in the halves, but his first 6-8 games in the back row he was pretty good. I'll look up the stats when I get a chance

point was the fact that you think Siro and CLaw will score the same lad, CLaw is available in the tough CTR spot, Siro is not. I doubt CLaw would be in as many teams if he was only listed as a 2RF Very Happy

Your not really going to have Siro and Aubbs in your team are you mate? If you want to commit fantasy suicide go all out and take Edrick Lee as well.

Yeah lad I was just throwing some more fuel on the fire regarding selecting Aubbs to start the year. I see him sneaking into a few teams 30 seconds before round 1 lockout.

He was in the my favourite team I have selected so far, I hate him and I am close to retiring from NRL Fanatsy
