Not minutes for edge players again haha.

If he's on the edge, it'll be enough.

Bird has to be ahead of Su'a, and I also suspect Sims may be phased out. Dragons aren't Sims an extension beyond this season, at one point it even looked like they'd release him early.

I'm pretty sure he's there to be a good influence/mentor for the younger fellas, and to stay fit to captain Fiji in the World Cup at season end.

Can't see him playing much NRL outside of Origin, or another outside backs injury crisis.

Could you justify starting him in your  second row?

He should be the 2nd highest scoring center for the season and underpriced, and has a handy dual that links backs and forwards, so is currently in my team.

Well it wasn’t enough re Arrow on edge last year not big mins and some jumped on him so there are exceptions.

Arrow spent the start of last season off the interchange, and even when he started, the role didn't change that much. He also cost at least 100k more than Bird will. I'm not sure how Arrow and Bird are comparable, either as players (real or fantasy) or the club situation/role.

    A > B

    A^2 + B^2 = C^2 + 13

    C > A

    A + B > C

    Set(A,B,C) == Edge

I'm getting old and may have suffered some grey matter degradation, or maybe the new rules have altered this, but if someone is playing second row and has 2RF/CTR Dual you should be playing them in CTR in your NRLF team......at least until they have proven that they are an elite 2RF scorer and even then...

At end of season when you have a stacked team, yes, doesnt really matter when starting the season. Just want to be buying value. If there is more value at CTR than EDG, then you will play them at EDG to fit more CTRs in your team.

I think this is right, but it feels so wrong...

Fair enough...still not tempted to start with Bird in second row straight away through

I also suspect the amount of value at CTR has been slightly overplayed but it is pre season so let's dream a little dream and hope old man Aardvark is wrong

My current iteration of the Bludgers includes 5 players who have centre as DPP, not including Jax Paulo who we are all assuming will be granted the valuable DPP WFB/Centre from round 1.
When I think about the poop-shooting hole of a position centre has been over the past few years, I am seriously considering burning said team set-up to the ground and starting afresh.
There couldn't possibly be that much value in the centres this year, could there? Laugh
