Bit of a sucker for watching pretty much every Trial game each year, and it's pretty awesome Fox are covering all games now.  Or was it last year they started doing them all?

I think I'm kinda gonna miss the dodgy commentary and the single angle iPhone 3 footage from the halfway line in the stands though.  It was always a challenge trying to find a stream that actually worked, trawling through FB pages for a link.  Also remember one game a few years ago (I think maybe Tigers/Cows) where the lights went out for 45 minutes!

B Trindall starting for Sharks ‘B’. Might mean Hynes/Moylan halves combo, which might mean Hynes kicking a lot of metres.

A key challenge in previous seasons was many of the games were at the same time. They have finally got their shit together.

I haven't given any thought to a sharks side, but Hynes + Moylan seems like a no brainer to me ?

I think Trindall has been getting mentioned as a possible halves partner just because he showed a lot of promise at the end of the year when SJ got injured.

Trindall had a decent All-Stars game and would probably have a good trial game too. But he will always be the back up for Moylan.

    Here's what will happen;

Round 1 - Hynes and Moylan halves pairing. Everyone cheers and starts with Hynes. Hynes 80 points, Moylan 20 points.

    Everyone celebrates.

Round 2 - minute 34, Moylan goes down injured. Trindall comes off the bench and immediately starts kicking the piss out if the ball. Half time we are all blowing up biting our fingernails as Hynes scored 0 points in those last 6 minutes of the half. End of the game, Hynes has a 10 point second half hand Trindall gets 2 drop outs and a TA to win the game. Hynes finishes on 38 points.

Next day, Moylan out 10-12 weeks. FFFUUUCCCKKK!!!

I think over the next couple of weeks we are going to discover more players that aren't vaxxed and more again at 4 months after they caught covid, providing a temporary exemption. So far we have only heard of a few high profile players, there are sure to be many more that aren't high profile.

Not aware of them having had covid and known to be unvaxxed without an exemption - Tapine and Api

Known to be unvaxxed with a 4 month exemption in place after having covid in the off season - NAS and Lolo

Any others that anyone is aware of?

Agreed no chance Moylan isn’t playing 6 if he’s healthy

There was less than 10 contracted players, about a month ago.. probably less now. Pretty sure AFB was one.

TBH (and imo) it won't even matter in four months time.

I disagree I went to the All Stars game and I thought Trindall was poor.

Agree with Rabbits, the game allayed any fears I originally had around potential downside if Trindall was in the halves next to Hynes at any point. Hynes was the dominant half and took most of the kicking.

Can someone build an NRL version of the NBA topshots.

If I’m gunna get reemed by an NFT ponsie scheme, I’d prefer it to be for a sport I actually like watching.

    Thanks

Did you forget or just blatantly ignore Hynesy's missed tackle at the 63 minute mark of Rd 2?

Aitken and Mann are likely inclusions, but no Haas or Uto for me to start the season.

If Mann is named to start at 13 he'll probably be in my team just to provide that extra MID cover.
It's eitther going to be Dfifta vs Aitken(+250k itb), I'm leaning towards Dfifita for peace of mind and not having to watch Titans games from behind the couch.
