Last year other than the obvious rush to get Cleary and/or Turbo for those that didn't have them from their first game.
And when Cleary got injured again there were people who held him throughout, ditched him forever, or ditched him and get him back.
Lots of people avoided iPap
There was a wide range around when people traded Papenhuyzen out, or Nicho Hynes in. Everyone that did it early got rewarded but at the time that was a gamble.
Most people got Reece Walsh in early, but there would have been plenty of people that
Some people traded in Starling when he got a start at hooker, or worse, Zac Cini - both of which were mistakes.
The popular centres had wildly varying results. Between getting injured, having poor results, or actually doing well (in the case of Averillo, becoming a gun after many had traded him out)
I pretty much did all of those things and few more bad ones
* Didn't get Ipap until round 18
* Held Papy until round 10 but thankfully didn't hold him any longer than that.
* Bought Hynes and Walsh in round 12, so a bit late but could have been much worse
* Got trapped by both Starling and Cini
* Sold Averillo after round 2, then paid top dollar to bring him back in round 15
* Bought Tohu Harris at the worst possible time, only got his two injury-affected scores
* Bought Corey Thompson the week he did his ankle
* Held Schuster all year, through his long injury.
I did make some good calls though.
* Sold Cleary as soon as he got injured, got DCE in who I kept all year.
* Got Doueihi in round 6, managed to get his 100 and then sold before his -4
* Got Momirovski in round 2 and Bunt in round 13, while they were still low ownership
* Sold Simonsson in round 4 and Leniu in round 7, earlier than most people did
* Bought Turbo in round 10, while he was still 663k, so a bit late but not catastrophically late (and I had got Doueihi's 100 the week before to offset Turbo's 100)
* Sold SJ right before he got injured, and did probably my most insane trade of all time by buying Corey Norman while he was suspended, as a way to loop that week, and then Norman went on to average almost 50 in the run home.
