Many punted on Turbo getting injured and never brought him in until it was far too late.

Also I remember not getting IPap like many others and thinking what could have been.

Yep, yep and……yep. I feel like the only one of these 50/50 calls I got right last year was Hynes early (and accidentally holding Croker) and my rank reflected that.

Hoping for a higher ratio this year

I'm sure previously we got Thursday night teams on the Monday, during certain times. Has that never happened?

I remember the Broncos have previously announced their round 1 side ahead of TLT. Not sure of other teams tbh.

Weird that we have had zero news out of broncos training this week. Not sure if they have locked media out?

The general answer to every draft team is make it more like mine. Unless there is something blatantly obvious or an obvious trap that needs some questioning there isn't much point getting feedback IMO. If you read this forum and don't leave your bench too thin you'll be fine.

First is always Warriors, an hour before the rest on the Tuesday.

I've always been up there. 2018 I was top 5000 and I have been climbing up to just under 3000 last year but I have struggled to crack that top 1000 or even get close to it

For me the big improvement last year going from L9 to L1 was trusting my personal opinion over group think and also having more patience and long term bias in decision making

Examples were holding averillo and croker longer than most through the averillo injury
Trading guys in who I could see lasting the season in my team rather than placeholders to trade out again if you’re gonna trade get someone that you hopefully won’t have to trade again, the reason I avoided Cini
If you’re not sold on someone and they’re role just wait a week

This year for example I see fermor as a future origin player he will play 80 and has big attacking upside so I’ll trust myself and have him from the start even though not everyone is a fan

At the moment I'm thinking that starting without Burton is the way to go. With less kick metres and less points for kick metres and tackle breaks and at the dogs I think he'll only average around 52 making him 4 points underpriced. With better options around his price and better value in the centre position, at the moment, I'm going without him

I'm getting mixed messages on the Haumole Olakau'atu injury. Some say 6 weeks some say he will miss round one only. Any people on here close to Manly have an inside idea of where we sit with this injury. No doubt the outcome of this affects most people's teams.

Can't get ahead when all the correct moves you make get injured for weeks in a row.

I think I fell into this trap too much last year. I would do TD/TUs when I already had my mind set just to give myself confidence and then when I didn't get the answer I wanted I tried to justify my decision to everyone. This year I am trying to focus on acknowledging what the forum thinks but making my own decisions at the same time.

You have to watch this video before making that decision

What about the weekend before that when they got thumped by the Storm?
I’m pretty sure there will be a lot more weeks like Round 20 than Round 21 for Burton now that he is at the Dogs

I do remember several years ago that the broncos named their team on the Friday before TLT. Exciting but useless as there was nothing fantasy relevant except Normal to fullback

But.. that was a one off
