I didn't believe it at first. Saw it on an Intsagram post that said "Shane Keith Warne" and I thought it must of been a different Shane Warne. Just so unexpected.

For my squad it comes down to picking 2 of these 3 guys (a) Tago (b) Amone (c) Tuilagi. Which 2 do you like. Cheers.

Tuilagi would be the must have of the 3. Cheapest, starting EDG, looks like he can be an attacking weapon.

Amone disappointed me in trials. got 0 kicking meters and hardly ran the ball. Had a heavily strapped arm, so may be another Averillo, who came right when he didn't have his arm strapped up.

Tago's flexibility is less useful than initially thought, now there are so many good value EDG options available now.

Less CTR competition in your squad than initially expected with Paulo not looking great, Suaalii not available, and the Tigers cheap CTRs looking to miss out.

Schneider and Ilias can cover cheaper HLF cover on your bench, along with Burton and Hynes able to be moved if desperately required.

I would say Tago just edges him out, but likely depends on team composition and what you most need for cover.

Condolences to all affected by the loss of Shane Warne. Sad to see someone go so suddenly.
I'm not an Australian, and I'm also not into cricket, so it hasn't rocked me. But I can see that he was treasured by the cricket community, the general Australian public, and forum members. May he rest in peace.

Team with exactly 0 bank so it must be a sign:

    Randall
    I. Papalii, Arrow, Bullemor
    Aitken, Fermor
    Cleary (c) Illias
    Tago, Penisini
    Pappy, Hynes, S. Crichton

    B. Smith, Mann, Nanai, Tuilagi
    Schneider, M. King, A. Fifita, R. Jennings

will probably get rid of 1 of the props in my emg for an outside back 240k or less if there's 1.

    Thoughts & thanks.

The great southern stand at the MCG has had a name change to the S.K Warne stand. A permanent memorial for a legend

I see a lot of teams running without both Clark and Simpkin. I was going with 1 but found a way to fit them both in my team, but ive gone a bit cold since i dont see anyone else running with either.

Only issue with Clark is that Tanah Boyd is always there on the bench ready to take 30 mins off him. He's also not the most attacking hooker that's ever lived, and I also don't think he's their A defender in the line.

No doubt in my mind that he'll make money this year, but it just might not be enough, or more importantly, quickly enough. If he was 50-100k cheaper he'd be a no-brainer, but at this point he's an awkward low-middie price. I might start with him, but it'll only be if there's a bunch of really nice cheapies on offer on TLT so I can double down on the cheaper hookers.

Simpkin has a limited lifespan. Liddle should be back before too long, and he's not that cheap anyway.

Clark was popular in early team drafts but seems to have fallen out of favour.
A lot of teams posted now have Randall as their only hooker. AS we get closer to kick off I think people will panic about the lack of cover, and chuck a 2nd hooker in, which might increase Clark's popularity, as he seems OK for a cheapish hooker

Yeah fair point. Hes a big body, what are the chances he plays some time at lock while boyd is on at hooker? i remember hearing something about clark being really fit.

The titans already will have to share middle minutes between Fotuaika, Tino, Lisone, Wallace, Liu and potentially Proctor I don't see him getting a go there. His service is also really poor for a hooker so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get dropped for Boyd as the season goes on.

Haha, it's funny how we all get impressions about people through their voices at work or posting style on here-I'm either spot on or completely 100% off track.

After watching the burton clip, seeing tagos speed and man handle jwh + dpp + gametime it would be tago over tuilagi for cheap edge option.

Amone over both being 80mins, playmaker, has had a taste, will be frothin to play after an off season thinking about how to carve up this year.

After his game where he hit 70 odd, he now has the confidence to back up his flair.
He does alot of constructive talking in attack AND defence which will go a long way making the dragons a real dark horse.

When you playing at that tempo it has a big impact
