How reliable is Michael Carayannis who says Walker is kicking for Easts?

I mean, I've just squeezed him anyway. Possibly not a sensible choice next to Keary but can't be running without *any* of the Roosters spine. So many points on offer and the one or two conversions he makes from eight attempts will just be a cherry on top. Running without hooker cover because effectively he's coming in for Erin Clark, but YOLO, he'll be better to watch.

Been thinking about this, and basically: no.

I have nine 300k-350k players because that's where the value and cash generation looks to be (Randall, Bullemor, Penisini, Crichton, Tuilagi, Amone, Ilias, Coates, Tago - the only one I can't fit in is Nanai but can't have them all). I have two 240k players (Schneider and King, and I'm not entirely sold on King).

I know perfectly well that some of those 300-350 guys will be busts - it's also probably true that a few of of eg. Leo Thompson, Koula, Russell, Vailea, AFifita will be Johnny Trapcow, while one or two of them could be Jimmy Greatcow. The point is *that's what trades are for* - certainly your first few trades: fixing your team and getting on the moneymakers you missed when you know better than on Rnd1 TLT that their BE is low/negative and their security is good.

And here's the main point with that: *it's easier to trade down than up*. If you're stuck with TrapcowX2 it could take weeks and extra trades to fix it up to get on the moneymaking 350ks you missed, by which time they'll be the moneymaking 420ks and you might be selling players you shouldn't to fund it. If you missed the 220k Mr Greatcow, so what? Buy him and bank cash if one of your picks is faltering, and if none of them are faltering then you're in gravy anyway. There's no season-long regrets to that either way, the regrets come when you have a couple of players scoring 15 or zero each week with no bank to trade optimally to the real moneymakers, while also hindering your ability to do what you want with the rest of your team.

Have managed to put together a team I don't hate:

    Smith
    Lolo, Bullemor, JKing
    Fifita, Fermor
    Hunt, Amone
    Burton, Penisini
    Pap, Hynes, Crichton

    Randall, Tuilagi, Nanai, Schneider
    Ilias, Coates, Tago, Vailea

    191k ITB

Similar to Rhinoceroo, team is packed with 300-350k players, which I'm mostly happy with. Bit concerned about what happens with King when Grant is back, and if Tago is going to be any good without Cleary.

Quite a bit of cash on hand - Can upgrade Hunt to DCE, Lolo to Haas, or try get some better coverage for MID on the bench - likely upgrading Tuilagi to ???

    Keen to get some thoughts.

Simpkin, Hastings and Gildart to all start. Peachey on the bench, Joe O at lock. Jimmy the Jet also named to start

Right. I've stopped fiddling with my team now other than putting the VC on Nicho because the colour suits his shirt.

You could just swap BSmith and Randall to get viable MID coverage

My team post TLT (89k left)

    Randall
    Haas (c) Stefano Bullemor
    Nanai Tuilagi
    Ilias Amone
    Burton Bird
    Papenhuyzen Hynes Crichton

    IPap Grant* Mann Schneider
    Tago* Russell Walters MKing

Currently looping Grant and Tago (who may be Billy Smith) - may upgrade Grant to Mahoney/Fifita

What I don’t like: EMG - Russell might become more viable WFB cover with cash. Halves seem quite weak without Cleary

Yeah cheers mate, I had actually already done that but forgot to list it that way. Still think I'm short a mid as he will also be covering hooker.
