I keep tinkering my side to get teddy in there.
What would the better combo be: parcell, jdb, teddy or lichaa, sue, mansour.
    Cheers

The safer option is probably Grant and have a look at Whitehead and see what his minutes are like

I've got Grant, guaranteed starting spot in the Tigers pack, should go well this year.

Whitehead sounds like he will be a good fantasy scorer, if he starts well I'll be straight onto him too, but for now, there are too many unknowns in the Raiders pack.

You are letting David Shillington pick your team for you? What are his fantasy credentials?

Zeb always looked likely for big forward minutes, I just think there are better options out there

He has NRL experience, and has faith in Taia's offloading ability and being solid for 80 minutes. That is more than enough for me, plus it was either Taukieaho or Taia for my squad at the moment and I sort of went cold on Taukieaho.

I already have Sue, Rochow and Ah Mau in my 2RF.

Have gone cold on JDB, especially if he isn't named to start come round 1. Currently have Taupau instead. I can see him improving on his scores last year especially if he gets a few more minutes on the field and some quality ball from DCE.

Greg Bird hasn't averaged over 40 any of the past 3 seasons.

Nothing has changed to make me think it will be any different this year. He does have a few missed tackles/errors/penalties in him, and for an 80 minute lock he doesn't make that many tackles.

My opinion is he's good in draft games because he is relatively solid and a good pick late in the draft as he's usually available long after he should be. but in classic fantasy there ar ebetter options available.

When in doubt hit back on browser and hope for the best.

Cheers for the list chew... Beer

Josh Hodgson 55 (46) Nailed on backup fantasy hooker if no batiste on bench
    Kevin Proctor 49 (45) doesn't inspire
Cameron Munster 64 (43) one for later
Gareth Widdop 59 (42) last 4 games sleeper but too many cash cow options
Anthony Milford 48  (41) not for me. Only if fullback option
LAM 50 (44) everyone's fave player apparently. Meetin gone must help him retain current avg
Carty 51 (40) kid's a super gun in the waiting. Must have
Jamie Lyon 53 (39) Jamie fucking Lyon
David Klemmer 46 (40) becomes an option if Graham/Tolman go down only
Jturbo 49 (39) a fit again Brent Lawrence some concern to his last-5 numbers
Nathan Friend 54 (38) club captain too. Reliable base stats Mortimer the pest is sniffing around unfortunately
Jarrod Wallace 44 (34) bit of a watch list of his minutes increase. Better options
    Justin Horo 41 (34)
Kane Evans 36 (31) good option while JWH out
Paasi 41 (30) legit option if can't afford an ah Mau. Team is rubbish but he shouldn't regress
Daniel Alvaro 53 (29) 3 games wouldn't know the bloke if I tripped over him at maccas. Have seen him play exactly zero matches of rugby league.
Albert Vete 38 (28) interesting. Never rally considered. TLT analysis job

Got into NRL and fantasy last year, I got to say, I did alright last year with, only an average of 650 and highest of 890... i know it was shit but i had no idea about byes,origin and trades. Had a good selection of rookies like kyle and euan atkin with jennings brothers. My main problem im onto basic training for the Army on March 15th and i still want to run a team this year, i dont know how ill be able to do this but I'm hooked. So would you suggest cash cows as i probably won't get to much trading and swapping till around round 4-10? My team so far is;

Hooker - tyler Randell / Matt Parcell
FRF    - kane Evans / Brenton Lawrence
FRF    - Sam Burgess / Nathaniel peteru
2RF    - Sio Siua Ta / Ben Henry
    2RF    - Bryce Cartwright / Christan Welc
    2RF    - Agnatius Paasi / Pauli Pauli
Halves - Adam Reynolds / Jackston Hasting
Halves - Josh Reynolds / Ashely Taylor
Centres - Mitchel Aubu / Joseph Leilua
    Centres - Solomone Kat / Kirisome Auva's
    W,FB - Greg Inglis / Michael Gordon
    W,FB - James Roberts / Dale Copely
    W,FB - Matt Moylan

Got $107k in bank, also thought on josh reynolds as a mid ranger at $334k avg 37. Sorry if post is wack posting on mobile ill fix once im home.

Firstly, you need to upgrade a hooker.
Going 1 cheap hooker can be acceptable, but 2 is a complete no-no. A lot of the best scorers are hookers and you definitely want 2 good ones for the run home, and that will be hard to do if you have 2 cash cows that don't make enough cash.
Also for the Knights I think Levi is seen as the better long term option, so would prefer him over Randell. btu if you do want a cheapie, Parcell/Cherrington are where its at, or possibly Jayden Nikorima.

In the backs you have too much depth, you do not need 4 high scoring options there so at least one of Inglis/Gordon/Roberts/Moylan should go. Plenty of cheap options could be available like Jaelen Feeney, Curtis Scott, Latrell Mitchell and Clinton Gutherson
Same goes for Leilua and Kata, I think one of them is surplus to requirements.

Once you made changes there you'll have cash too upgrade your hooker situation.

Also check teams when they are named next week, I think better options will turn up than Peteru, Welch, Henry

You also could do with a decent vice captain option. if Sam Burgess goes down I don't wknow where you (c) would go. You want another big gun ($500k+ player) to provide some stability around captaincy options. Smith, Fifita, Gallen, Parker are the best options.

Another one here trying to get Ted into my team - other than that it's probably been the least I've ever tinkered with my side. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Weighing up between Inglis and Surgess, or Tedesco and a back rower under 440k. Will likely stick with the first option and hope the off season break does wonders for GI

Depends what sub 440 guys you don't have already

I'd want Ted over GI if it doesn't mean too big a sacrifice. Ted is one of them heart and soul of the team type players whereas GI has AReynolds in his halves

Rochow overall, Sue if he gets then keeps lock spot but not confident in that

To be honest not done this forum thing before, browsed the old sportals, and now this for team info, ideas etc so not really upto speed with messaging. I haven't altered any settings or anything and there's nothing in any inboxes, sent boxes, just the 1 in outbox that I tried to send to Honeysett. I'll look to see anything in saved thanks

Besides my two rookies it's just Cartwright under 440k at the moment in my backrow, GM. Like you I like to pick Guns and Rookies, but if i had to fit another backrower in to accommodate Ted it would be one of JDB, Guerra or SST. Maybe Manu Ma'u as a smokey, but I'm not sold on any of them, particuarly compared to Surgess.

That said, if i'm gonna fork out $400k for a WFB it may as well be Ted, right? It's a tough one I reckon

Yes mate I think if going for out and out gun at fullback, Ted picks himself. Otherwise might as well throw a Gordon or Fergo in.

I think Guerra is a dead solid pick alongside carty fwiw. I've no doubt on straight points he will be out scoring the likes of Evans and STT quite convincingly
