Daily Telegraph's Newcastle reporter Barry Toohey names the Knights' first round team. Cat amongst the pigeons.

Does anyone know what the depth in centres at the storm is like? I keep coming back to Harris for my team as I think he definitely will score over 50 per game. I just worry about him being pushed out to centre again if there is any injuries

Randal becomes an option if Bhana is going to named as back-up hooker.

Im not sure i trust thats the team that will be named and if it is how long do they stick with it?

Got to make sure i pick the right Safititi now lol

Going to have nice article in the Herald Sun to read tomorrow "Knights coach gambles with record 5 debutants", I've always loved Randell.

I'm trying to work Parker back into my team but
    Merrin Cartwright Tapau
Just looks so much stronger than
    Parker Cartwright Cow

Haven't been able to fit both Merrin and CP13 in. Thoughts?

If you run a popup blocker it can stop the new message popup and also shows you don't have any unread messages. Try checking your inbox and see if it's there but looks like you've read it.

Have so much money in the kitty but am stuck at where to use it since I like my team as it is. Any suggestions lads?

    This team leaves 126k/118k

    Seggy, Lichaa
    Surgess, Evans, BLawrence, Leuluai
Merrin, SST, Carty, LAM, Pauli, Frei
    DCE, Hastings, Taylor, JNikorima
    Aubbs, CLawrence, Auvaa, Henry
    Mansour, Gordon/Slater, Feeney, Mitchell, Gutherson

Have no idea where to spend the cash, any ideas?

wowsers that's a pretty impressive team without having all that cash leftover, to start the season at least mate I think you need a nailed on captain choice though mate, seggy to CS9 I reckon

Haha yeah I was weighing that move up. Except it was Lichaa for CS9 haha
But I think Lichaa is in for a big year somehow.

Probably best just to wait for TLT and then make big decisions. Fair play?

I'd get either a more reliable captaincy option, or improve your 4th reserve (currently Taylor or Pauli?)

So if this is the Knights team

    1. Feeney
    2. C. Mata'utia
    3. P. Mata'utia
    4. Gagai
    5. Uate
    6. Mullen
    7. Hodkinson
    8. Snowden
    9. Randell
    10. Mataora
    11. Rochow
    12. J. Saifiti
    13. Smith

    14. Bhana
    15. K. Sims
    16. Pauli
    17. D. Saifiti

Then Jacob Saifiti (currently not on system) suddenly is in everyone's team. Which helps out because he'd be the first decent cheap option to emerge this season.

Randell becomes tempting as he's the only proper hooker there.

Also, David Bhana was a tackling machine in the U20s.

If he gets decent game time I imagine he'll score all right in fantasy

What's not reliable about Seggy??!! Hehe

Stupid posts not being posted in there whole!!!!!

Anyway apart from that, ive moved CS9 in for seggy and that leaves me with enough for Barba if hes named at Fullback on Tuesday
Or keep Seggy and upgrade 4th reserve Pauli to Grant

    Votes??

Strange team? Is Levi injured? As i read he was the preferred hooker. Doesnt make sense he misses out altogether. With the Saifiti twins all the wraps were on Daniel especially after the trial. Daniel is the bigger one (just) 117kg v 111kg and i guess hes on the bench in the prop rotation? There is a Brendan Santi amongst these cheapies just need to work out which one

Apparently Bhana has been training as back up hooker.

I'd read the same about Levi. Must have just been the previous administration, and Brown must have other ideas. Bhana had been training at higher so will cover Randell, but for how long? (Both in minutes per game, and how many games before Levi gets back in the team?)

Jacob Saifiti was the better credentialed one as a junior. It's only recently (ie this year) that Daniel has been mentioned more. Daniel also a prop and Jacob a back rower which explains why he starts there.
