    Exactly this.

It applies to all forms of investing (even fantasy NRL). The smartest and richest investors find investments that have many areas of improvement and potential. They buy during or after a decline. Buy problems and sell solutions.

For me, I see the negatives of days gone by as potential positives in days to come. Most people in this world view current and past negatives as future negatives. Fear and human emotion controls this theory. It is human nature.

These theories I subscribe to in my working and personal life, I also apply to this game. I see Hodgson missing 55 tackles last year as a great opportunity, the same as I see Ryan James awful penalty/error count last season as a great opportunity.

This is just a small example. There is much money to be made in this game, as there is in everyday life.

Also, if you are discounting Hodgson due to 55 missed tackles.

Will you also discount James Segeyaro, Andrew McCullough, or Nathan Peats due to theirs?

Oh great extended benches, I know Madge loves those. He'll name Auva'a in the centres and Hymel Hunt at 21 or something and put him in at the last minute because he feels like it.

I'm swaying between Segey and Hodgson but I would have to downgrade someone atm for Segey.

Looking at missed tackles Segey missed 2 less (53) than Hodgson but Hodgson played around 200 minutes more

Hookers make about a 1000 tackles a season and you're worried about them missing 50?

    Seggy was 53 MT / 662 made = 92.6%

    whereas McCullough was top tackler last year - 30 MT / 1140 made = 97.4%, and Cam was 32 MT / 1034 made = 97.0 %

Pearce scandal update: Pearce sleeps nude in an oxygen tent which he believes gives him sexual powers.

Nah really the NRL have said they don't like the Roosters 'give him a slap on the wrist' punishment of 4-6 weeks. They want him banned for a maximum of 12 and don't want anything less than 8. Just heard it on Channel 9

Good luck with whatever comes next mate. There aren't many better feelings then getting out of a job you don't like if that was the case.

Oh I love the job, just circumstances forced me to do so. Mainly because I finished my schooling but yeah I am actually really stoked about the future.
