Does everyone reckon Ipap will get 80 mins often this season on the edge? Or will he end up in the middle rotation?

Obviously no one knows besides Brad Arthur but just undecided on Ipap over Haas...

Punting on TPJ after that news and see how it goes haha.
Best case he guns it like we all know he can
Worst case he's a numpty again and I use one early trade and replace him with Carrigan/Lolo/AFB depending who looks best

I've gone Arrow....probably less upside potential (provided the planets align for Uto) but DPP and he should score there or thereabouts. Risk averse pick to cover the possibility that all the cheap edges fail at once

    Just gonna spit ball some ideas here;

Anyone else think Cook can return to a 60 odd point average ? With no Reynolds there maybe he takes more responsibility with running and kicking more. Surely south's have to change their style a bit.

    Haas vs Papa
I'm seeing almost every team with Haas and idk if I'm missing something or if people are just following the heard. I agree you are basically getting the same thing with both guys but I give the edge to papa and here's why.

1.The Eels bench looks like big minutes at 2nd row for Isaiah where he averages 71 points in games where he plays 70 mins or mor vs Haas who will probably play 65 minutes where he averages 66 points.

    2. Dual position vs no dual position

    3. Origin vs no origin

    Burton at Centre

I am probably picking him at this stage but its tempting to punt on someone like Timoko and use the extra cash elsewhere.

I get we all just want to avoid the headache of this position but there isn't a tonne of value here. Playing in the halves for a bottom four ish team he might spend a lot of time defending on the back foot missing tackles and get limited attacking chances. Probably averages what he's priced at

I know a lot are keen on Arrow, but I still struggle to see the value there. Absolute plodder who will average 45, and I used to think he would be a quality player.

He's had two 80 minute games in his carrer. Averaged 53 across 7 games in 2021 - with games at lock and off the bench to stack tackles, 46 at second row across 3 games. Almost averaged 49 back in 2020 playing primarily at lock. The dude is made of glass, will be parked out wide, making less tackles and missing half of them.

I'm having the same dilemma.... Hard to say....but the fact that Haas started at almost $1m last year has me feeling he's the better buy (though I thought I Pap looked really good in the limited trial matches I saw.....didn't watch the Broncos, so can't really comment on Haas)

Hmm, 18-21 feels weaker than I'd like, but pretty happy with that 17:

    Mahoney
    Haas Lolo Mann
    DiFi Nanai
    Hunt Illias
    Penisini Tago
    Pap Hynes Crichton

    Randall Bullemor Tuilagi Schneider

    Coates Vailea Russell Fifita

    48k

Worth going back to grant and spreading the money a bit more through 18-21?

With the TU/TD on the last page, I've redone my team, thoughts?

Cook averaged 59.4 last season. 60 doesn't sound like a stretch.

Wallace had a great back end to the season last year. Was one of the best players in the last dozen or so games.
I don't expect he'll be outside the 17 for long and most likely Lisone will be the one who makes way.
As a titans fan I think Lisone brings as much to the team as anyone. If Wallace comes in it is for Proctor

18-21 looks a touch light, but then again I'm running Coates/Russell/Vailea/Fifita so in the same boat.

Don't personally get the J King pick, but that would be my only quibble, the rest all looks very solid.

That was 80 minute Haas at $1M

I've spent ages on this forum waxing lyrical about how I think King will start at lock and get 40 mins a game, priced at 26.

Souths have 2 backrowers on the bench so he'll spend a lot of time in the middle is the thinking. He averaged 53 in 50+ minute games last year at 0.9ppm, he is priced at 44, adjusting for TBs that is 7 points of value off rip.

Weird that you say he stacked tackles at lock/off the bench when his highest tackle count game was when he started 2nd row
