For me personally its a no. Burgess x2 still have to come back which should move Surgess back to 2nd Row/Lock. Grevs + Clark have all started in the past in the 2nd row so theres too much going on there for my liking. I would probably take the gamble if he was $130K, but for the extra 40K you kind of want him to be safe in his position. Its definitely not the worst choice ever though.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 9
Heres my thoughts on some of the players, dont think I have any of these players..
Cartwright/Merrin: Staying well away from the Panthers back row. Theres too much of an unknown there for me, especially with ET on the bench who is an 80 minute player himself. PEachey will come on, probably for Yeo, then ET will come on for either Merrin or Cartwright (80 min player also I think?) so somebody is going to be missing out. Unless ET is going to come on for Segeyaro, but that doesn't make any sense.
Knights team: I basically want to stay away from everybody here. I have selected a few Knights, but Rochow is the only one I am reasonably sold on. Theres a few backs who could be back next week. Whats to say Mamo comes back next week and we never see Feeney again this year? The forwards are a bit iffy, Who is likely to be missing out? Too much of an unknown there. However I have selected the twins, with 0 confidence
Henry: I have selected him, but to be honest with not much confidence. Sao would of been in the team if he wasn't injured supposedly and Thompson is on the bench. Hoffman + Mannering are both 80 minute players, which means Sao would of come on for Henry. However Henry might still get 50 minutes? not sure. I have him, but only because everybody else does. I do see the upside though and if he was 50K more expensive, I probably wouldnt of selected him
Cooper/JDB: I've had both in my team at varying stages but how confident are we that Cooper is going to be playing 80 minutes? As mentioned in another post, Friz has come to back also, probably for Matthews, but theres quite a few locking options at the Dragons.
Mann: I have also had him in my team at varying stages but I just feel he could be like a Slater type Fantasy player. Good in the real game, but not good enough to translate to Fantasy points. Thats just a hunch.
Feel free to offer your counter argument. Im open to changing my mind

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 9
anybody thinking of going the bold strategy of running a nuffie as 4th reserve and hoping for a decent mid ranger (ie. Taylor). Doing so really strengthens the rest of the pack, and there is always at least one golden cow each year. I am thinking Saifiti starting second row might be a solid smokey. These kids always go big on adrenaline on debut. A very risky move, but no worse than Taylor IMO.
Thoughts?

I'm running either Taylor/Jniko/Fenney/Saifiti as 4th reserve

@ Finchy. G'day mate & just an observation mate. You are staying away from Panthers but are picking Dragons when you could make the same argument for staying away from Dragons. Personally I wouldn't rule out picking Merrin/Cartwright & I wouldn't rule out picking Cooper/JDB.

I would, you may stuff it Round 1 but essentially you have like 9 NPR options who can fill that 1 spot. So surely one of them fires.

Think I will start off with Benry and just hope he holds his spot until Kirisome Auva'a forces his way back into the starting side which will only be a short time.
