For me personally its a no. Burgess x2 still have to come back which should move Surgess back to 2nd Row/Lock. Grevs + Clark have all started in the past in the 2nd row so theres too much going on there for my liking. I would probably take the gamble if he was $130K, but for the extra 40K you kind of want him to be safe in his position. Its definitely not the worst choice ever though.

On top of this you have the running hooker battle between Cook and McInnes and the latter is also a second rower who has played the utility role in the past...

Okay yeah that's a no brainer.

But looking at his forward pack the only keepers are really Surgess and Merrin, that's 2/10. Surely you want 3 or 4 keepers that you won't need to touch.

PGC had 1 player in his forward pack that he never touched (Parker)

    Everyone else got traded out

Whether he won despite that or because of that, I don't believe it is a necessity to have 4-5 keepers to start the year

Reports are the Roosters were pushing for 2-4 match ban but I think the NRL are pushing for 8-12.  So I'm banking on 6-8 and whilst I was hesitant on JNik I have bought him in.  I am a massive Bronco fan and I won't be picking Eden.  Reed is apparently named in the Ressies this week for his comeback match from injury so maybe Eden is there on form, but it's too risky for me.  I'd move Feeney to WFB and bring in JNik.  Trade him out as soon as Pearce is back for TMM or whoever else pops up in the meantime.

Thanks for the replay Al but don't you feel that if this is the case for both parties (Eden and JNiko) then you would be better of leaving them both and saving a trade? Take someone else?

Completely undecided on final spot in WFB/CTR.
I have Gutherson as DPP. Wondering if I should get another DPP to switch him with (who isn't named), or go for someone like Littlejohn who may only play 1 game, but score well.
Currently have WFB-Gordon, Barba, Feeney, Mitchell
    CTR-Aubbs, Green, Henry,
Gutherson to go in either spot.
    Thoughts, suggestions?

Damn, thanks for that. Maybe I need to rethink my strategy a little.

I'm taking a punt that if JNik gets 6-8 weeks he will make close to $100k and then ship him out before he becomes an Auto Emergency nightmare. Also a bit of insurance as so many teams have him. Eden I've never considered seriously.

Roberts might get 50 one week 20 the next
Whitehead most people will be happy if he gets 45.
    Total 70 - 90

I promised myself that if Cartwright was named to start I would select him.
But even now I am thinking of upgrading him to Cooper.
Guys like me who can't keep their promises make me sick.

I am of the opinion the Benry is very decent NPR, only injuries have curtailed his career IMO has been a very solid player for the warriors and the fact he spent nearly all of last year out and guys like Faitala-Mariner who had a decent year for a youngster are no where near the team is a testament to that

Anything you'd be happy to share? He's been the only player in my 2RF that hasn't moved.
