Watching the game, Nanny didnt play all that bad. He was very involved but had a tackle technique which is terrible for fantasy scoring. Similar to how Fifita used to get a TB for a slap on somebodies chest (not a real TB in my opinion) Nanny got -2 for almost threatening to tackle but then falling off mid commitment. It wasn't ineffective in the game, he was actually stopping players and making defensive moves he just wasn't holding on. There was some genuine bad tackles and complete misses when charging down, but overall his defense wasn't too bad. At least in my opinion.

Wonder if he see his score and changes his tackle technique. As silly as it sounds it may have some influence. Combination of ego and a reality check on what he is doing in the game.

I reckon his mates who have him in Fantasy will blow up at him, but doubt it will have any influence on his IRL performance. What impressed me most about Nanai was his motor. Looked quite comfortable even after 80 minutes to be honest.

I don’t own him but I don’t understand how you could be upset with DFifi. He’s apparently not doing anything but busting out 45-50. There are guns working hard and struggling to get that. When he scores some tries (probably not 17 again) he’s going to be up there

@robelgordo You are spot on mate, if he has one decent attacking play he is +20, and he has such a high ceiling. I will need him to have a leg fall off to consider trading him out.

That was me. I think I said he would need 120 mins to be relevant and, as is the fashion, I am steadfastly sticking to my guns (unless I find he allows me to fix up my stinking team)

Yep. Don't own him but own I own AFB for example and watching both and for AFB to only score 10 more based on the output is crazy. Fifita is pumping out a 90 sooner rather than later.

Most people have DFifi as a captaincy option and that's where the frustrations comes up.

Also some people went and brought adult nappies for Ash Taylor & Aitkens and it never got used so its kinda frustrating to see that.

On Nanai those that had him round 1 we were lucky with his score. Out of the 3 formats re fantasy, sc & vsdt only vsdt recorded his missed tackles which as mentioned he breaks away before the tackle is completed.

I actually went a bit overkill round 1 re forward guns I had Mahoney, Haas, Angus, D. Fifita & got rid of Angus for Arrow this round but I was able to get Tago with the cash. I'm happy keeping D. Fifita because as mentioned he will go large at some stage & he is my Cleary money. I need to get a good half no offense S. Walker who I own so round 3 will be getting Sexton & I will probably sell Mahoney to raise the cash.

Some things you can't predict, I'm sure he won't continue scoring 60 odd points. (Or is he going to do a Lomax?)

I'm already looking forward to having Schneider back so I don't have to play members of club 17.
With the Bully injury I will need to get another MID into the team this week, maybe Josh King as a stop gap solution?

I reckon we got a rain check on Schneider's 17. Just you wait.

@Chewie Haha mate these are exactly my thoughts, I think we are all in the same place and it will be very key how we use (or don't waste) our next few trades

    Who would you rather have:
    (a) Walsh - move Hynes from wfb to hlf or
    (b) Sexton

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I vote Sexton but would love to see Walsh move to the halves at some stage of his career IRL.
