Re: Rd 3 Results
762 for the week. Not terrible, but a few cracks appearing.
No trades last week but suspect that will change this week.
Any plans on what trades make most sense for us?
I think tha back 7 is all good, but might want to play with the forwards
Starling, Haas, JKing, Clifford, Grant, RJennings all amongst the possible trade targets this week

$18k I think
Not enough to do Bully to Starling unfortunately.
Just Clark to Starling? (thinking the same move for my team)

Uto > JKing would be my only trade, bank some cash and re arrange to get a starting 17.

Pending any injury news on Bullemor I think he’s a hold.
Uto to J King and Clark to Starling.

Agree with above - same two trades I'm doing with my team pending any TLT surprises.

Re: Rd 3 Results
A little bit worried about depth. Having Schneider back can offset Tuilagi, but Nanai and Bullemor will remain in our 17 with those trades (at least assuming Bully is named). Would we be OK to play Penisini, Ilias or Fifita this week if needed?

Utoik to JKing will give some $$$ if needed and Clark to Starling could be nice (Ive gone Bulle to JKing and Clark to Starling with my team at the moment)

Re: Rd 3 Results
Trade outs for me are Uto, Bully (assuming form or injury means he isn't named to start), LoLo, and Clark in that order.
Uto - role isn't clear and didn't play well. Doesn't play rd13. Could maybe give a few more weeks but price will slip and is taking up a fair bit of cap.
Bully - Won't play rd13 with Schuster back. Either reason for being benched isnt great. Cash gen has stalled.
LoLo - Can maybe give a few more weeks but doesn't look to be too valuable. Probably has a good game against the broncos this week as usual (84, 47, 62, 54). Plays rd 13 but holding a 40-45 average the whole way there probably isn't worth it.
Clark - Almost the same as LoLo - plays rd 13, has a bit more value in him based on past stats for 60 minute games. Cash gen isn't dead yet with a BE of only 28. One good game will kickstart this.
Note: focused on rd13 as these guys have all started slow so optimistically they would get back on track over the next few rounds and then would likely peak in value around that time if they play well.
Think we don't need to worry about getting the best scorers as we still have decent depth with the following:
- I also don't hate the idea of playing Penisini at CTR for a week or two with Tago in at EDG or in the 14-17 for coverage (Tuilagi will be handy here to loop).
- Schnieder can also play in the 14-17.
- King can also replace Uto in MID.
- That would leave a bench of Clark, Uto, Bully, Schneider, Nanai, Tulilagi, Illias and Fifita. (Not great but still okay)
So as long as we trade Uto and Bully to some decent scorers we should be fine.
To keep team depth as I'm saying we should look at trading 3 mids (Uto, Lolo, Bully) I think we have 2 good choices.
1. Uto -> Starling (+93k)
Bully -> J.King (-4k)
Gives some cash (107k) for future weeks, an extra 20 points from Bully to King with some Starling upside and means we get a free look at whatever Penrith winger comes in. Idea is to gun + cow the following week.
2. Uto -> Yeo (-181k)
Lolo -> J. King (+242k)
This fixes our Mid depth and adds maybe 30 points. Less cash ITB (79k) for future weeks problems but hopefully some quality cows pop up.
3. Bully -> J.King (-4k)
Gives Uto and Lolo one more chance. Gives MID depth to change Uto and LoLo to any other position in future weeks
4. Illias -> RJennings (+53k)
Bully -> Starling ( -80k)
Cant do Starling with this as we are 9k short............
Will edit this post TLT. May be some other options that become appealing.

Re: Rd 3 Results
Wow I was stuggling for EDG players with Wilton out this week and Bullemor question marks and completely forgot about Tago EDG DPP
So i was resigned to working out which EDG player I had to trade in this week and this may have fixed this issue
Cheers for that
I agree with the trade outs in that order and as for trade ins all the value playable options being mentioned like starling/Jking I am happy to vote on too.
Personally for my team I am just having fun and not stressing or over thinking this year and seems to be going ok. If in doubt pull the trigger as this team is a fantasy within a fantasy too so gives us a little more luxury to play loose I feel
With injuries and HIA to players even bad trades can become good quickly too, so who knows what can happen with JKING, without overthinking JKing + Starling in and Uto + lame cow out
If I had to decide between who to rade out of Tuilagi and Clark then Clark stays because he is playing this week and can still make $$ and points if needed. Someone in the similar 'Clark' mold was I held simpkin and he scored 48.
Another one of those scores this week and a liddle delay and he isgarvy Gravy
Worst case he moves further up the ever growing trade out list

Re: Rd 3 Results
Tuilagi ---> Starling (instead of Clark who is at least still a green dot going forward and could potentially make cash)
Utoikamanu ---> LThompson
Not convinced JKing is going to make enough/score well enough going forward to be worth two trades.
Thompson is at least at bottom dollar and should make money though probably not good enough to be in the 17.

Agree with all of this rationale.
Think Tuilagi is the 2nd tradeout, but would consider Bully if we don't need him in the 17 this week.
