I think I’m swerving the boring move of Bullemor + Tuilagi to Starling + Thompson and going Fifita to Sexton instead of Bullemor to Thompson

I’ve exhausted all my yearly fantasy luck in FPL this year

The kicker? I am currently playing all of Bullemor, Nanai, Ming, Thompson with Ilias, Coates, B.Smith, and Tuilagi on the pine who all have rubbish cash gen.

I don't mean to pry but how you going to upgrade all that junk when Clearly loses 200 k in value. Season over? No?

Easy mate, rank gains more easily at the start where all the scores are close together

The great thing about having guns that suck is you can pivot to Cleary in 3 trades. Will be riding his coat tails.

Failure is not an option. Cleary is a flawless fantasy scorer.

Thompson been named from the start, would think he's higher in pecking order as well as looking much better on the field?

They both look pretty good tbh. Thompson might be great but he's also been a case study of a variety of behavioural effects and cognitive biases on here from fomo to group polarisation to halo to priming to various types of heuristic to plenty more behind.Thompson is probably a better option than Croker, but not to the extent that 98% of the discussion is about him.

Tl/dr, if he scores 45 great, if he gets another 15 everyone's fucked.

If it helps at all I went from 50k in round 3 2020 to top 3k by seasons end

Going after cleary that hard is either the best or worst decision ever and I dont know which but fuck it, it’s your team, enjoy the ride

Start of season all about picking the guns who start faster, majority of correct cows. Picking the right captain with no Cleary been huge to start year

Well majority on here ain't dumb mate and the kid who started on the bench since R1 is always going to look like the better option than the kid who appeared R2 after an injury

If you got him in Round One at 220 k I say good for you. So much uncertainty moving forward though. Even if he does keep spot 17 on the roster moving forward, there is no guarantee he will score enough to make it to 400k. For those who have there 30K already the equation is different. Mo money Mo problems if you are buying him to raise coin I say.

No Tago which has hurt too. Pondering if Tago is still worth bringing in or not.. as I'm not keen on playing Coates every week (Critta would go to wfb)

Big Leo is probably some kind of trap, but he's dirt cheap and allows coaches to shift dud pre-season choices to (hopefully) start some cash gen.
The fact that so many are on him actually limits the potential damage having him can do to your team.
If, however, the kid pulls out another 45 you'll be kicking stones for not jumping on.
I learnt my lesson years ago when the Cowboys debuted a young forward and I ignored him for too many rounds - name of Coen Hess.
    I've never forgiven him.
