Didn't really think I carried on about it as much as this post gives off, but whatever.

I can definitely see merit in trading Crichton now he's benched.

I still think there is a real chance Leo Thompson maxes out at under $350k

if he averages around 25-27 that is what will happen. The usefulness would be more in funds freed up bringing him in rather than the outright cash he makes.

If knights ever get back to full strength I don't think he'll be useful, but might be enough injuries/other concerns to keep him around for a while

I think this is the most likely scenario.

Still, not a bad trade in, and a punt that may pay off.

Problem with Crichton is do you go sideways, or do you take a punt on a Jack Hetherington/Coen Hess type and bank the cash for Cleary?

Kobe Hetherington is an interesting option if he got another 10-15 minutes a game.

I am holding Crichton for 1 game to see if his middle minutes/impact matches that of other benched players such as we saw with Murray and co in earlier rounds.

It will be a firecracker up him, hopefully he sparks up. If not he is a base for me to bring in Cleary.

Nah, he wouldn't be, no way.

I was being silly as I totally forgot Yeo plays Origin when I traded him in last week.

It's being reported that Cotric is out and Kris is to come on to the wing for him.
I had a quick scroll through the bookies and they have all adjusted try scorer odds except Bet365.

You can get some massive value for a starting winger with $3.50 anytime try scorer, $21 first try scorer, $21 last try scorer on Bet365 compared to $2 anytime or $10 first try scorer with other bookies (sportsbet, Ladbrokes etc.)

Just thought I'd throw it on here in case anyone wanted to throw some money away with me.

    Gamble responsibly.

This is a good point. Last chance saloon perhaps.

Surely he’d love to score against the Rabbits too

    Mahoney
    Haas (c), Arrow, Bullemor
    D. Fifita, Fermor
    Sexton, Schneider
    Tago, Penisini
    Hynes (vc), Pappy, S. Crichton

    Randall, Mann, M. King, Nanai
Leo T., Ilias, B. Smith, Vailea

    Thoughts & thanks.

The obvious one would be Bullemor and play Thompson in your 17

Options I am tossing up this week

    Uto - Starling
and then either Bully/Tuilagi to Thompson or no 2nd trade
I think its real possible that Bullemore and Tuilagi make as much cash as Thompson does over the next month. Although its also possible Bullemor keeps getting 20 minutes and Tuilagi loses his spot to Garner

Other option is keep Utokaimanu and double trade both Tuilagi/Bullemor to Starling/Thompson
Keep a better scorer in Uto, but putting a lot of eggs in the Thompson basket to make me some cash (or that Uto eventually comes good)

Sione Fanui signed to Tigers from Manly.

Wests Tigers have signed NSW under-18 prop Sione Fainu from rivals Manly on an immediate long-term deal.

Fainu will make the switch to the Tigers from the next two-and-a-half seasons after being granted a release from the Sea Eagles.

The 20-year-old is yet to play first grade but, at 185cm and 109kg, will join the Tigers’ top squad and push for a NRL spot immediately.

Fainu represented NSW under-18 in 2019 when he was named the state player of the year.

He is the younger brother of sidelined Manly hooker Manase Fainu, who hasn’t played since 2019.
