I don't mind the Walsh trade in. He looks to be taking more responsibility with SJ out in terms of general play kicking, will be starting every game instead of a mixture of halves/wing/fullback/bench and looks a better player after a full offseason training with the top squad

I generally don't trade in WFB guns until they have had a bad score and drop a bit in cash but I don't see any reason Walsh isn't in the conversation for WFB3 come the end of the season

There is no one in that team putting their hands up to take his position. Roosters had one good game out of three.

As Rhino pointed out next 5 games looks good for them to work on their combinations and once the team improves you should see better fantasy output from Angus.

I sold S. Walker to Sexton because Walker was my main half & he wasn't posting decent enough scores & I wanted a more consistent scorer. So Walker scores 47 including 8 tb's which is an anomaly & won't happen every week. He's at best a 30-40 point scorer so although he scored well & had a good game I'm still happy with the Sexton trade.
Arrow who I traded in for Angus round 2 had a great game IRL & fantasy....topped the run mtrs for Souths & was really involved which was reflected in his 50 pts off 56 mins. He seemed to play most of the game in the middle which probably explains his minutes.
Currently 139/2 only Hynes & Arrow but 11 players today. I had B. Smith & Ilias in emg's. Even though Ilias fell short of his b/e I thought he's showing promise & B. Smith came right exceeding his b/e & he played well.

Traded Uto to Grant and couldn't reverse it before Uto played after finding out Grant was out with covid. Starting to think I still won on the trade

Just catching up with last night scores. Maybe trading Crichton to Yeo was a nice move but we will see I guess. But Stefano and Katoa are 2 more headaches to add to a multitude of headaches I have in my team.

But how many low scores price drops are you prepared to wait & see with?

Hopefully he drops in price & can be picked up post origin on the cheap for a good run to the finals…

I think Walker is going to score equal parts 20s, 40s and 80s this year, will be a rollercoaster, just need a couple of the 80s tomcome.in a row. Yes, Sexton is a safer (and more expensive) choice but looking for the vintage SJ scoring and high ceiling from SW.

If I had picked a gun at the start of the season his price rises & drops doesn't matter to me. Due to the salary cap, I would spend more than a month researching on which guns I want in my starting team and build the rest of the team around that.

I, personally, wouldn't waste a trade on a gun unless injured or around Origin time but if you think your team is better off by selling him then go for it.

In Robbos pre game press conference he said Butcher had earnt the spot and Angus provided some power from the bench. Or something along those lines.

Did anything from last night change that?

I think that was just the coach speak- justifying his team selection. I don't see an Origin forward been kept out of the starting team for too long.

Didn't watch the game- How was Nat ?

Game was a bit late for me so didn’t get to see it.

1 stint off the bench is pretty piss poor though.

DFifita is going to look a lot like Cam Murray next week if he shits the bed again tonight, expecting a better effort though.

Nat looked good. We didn't get enough attacking ball for either him or Crichton to be stand outs in a good way. Angus gave away like 3-4 penalties piggy backing the rabbits out of their own end though, I was filthy with him. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him off the bench again next week.

Walters or Coates to loop in ahead of Ilias? Feel like Walters higher floor, Coates higher ceiling. Tempted to play Coates but always a chance of single digits.

Either would get much less than Ilias. I'd actually slightly favour Walters. Coates may struggle against Parra.
