I have been scouting the top teams to see any cows I have missed, or to pinch ideas.
Never too early to spot a rising

Yes intentional POD as hardly owned in top 1000. You don't push the envelope by following the herd

There is no one in that team putting their hands up to take his position. Roosters had one good game out of three.
As Rhino pointed out next 5 games looks good for them to work on their combinations and once the team improves you should see better fantasy output from Angus.
White Lightning wrote:I sold S. Walker to Sexton because Walker was my main half & he wasn't posting decent enough scores & I wanted a more consistent scorer. So Walker scores 47 including 8 tb's which is an anomaly & won't happen every week. He's at best a 30-40 point scorer so although he scored well & had a good game I'm still happy with the Sexton trade.
Arrow who I traded in for Angus round 2 had a great game IRL & fantasy....topped the run mtrs for Souths & was really involved which was reflected in his 50 pts off 56 mins. He seemed to play most of the game in the middle which probably explains his minutes.
Currently 139/2 only Hynes & Arrow but 11 players today. I had B. Smith & Ilias in emg's. Even though Ilias fell short of his b/e I thought he's showing promise & B. Smith came right exceeding his b/e & he played well.

But how many low scores price drops are you prepared to wait & see with?
Hopefully he drops in price & can be picked up post origin on the cheap for a good run to the finals…

Hold on, Butcher literally just took it!

Does he keep it next week?

In Robbos pre game press conference he said Butcher had earnt the spot and Angus provided some power from the bench. Or something along those lines.
Did anything from last night change that?

I think that was just the coach speak- justifying his team selection. I don't see an Origin forward been kept out of the starting team for too long.
Didn't watch the game- How was Nat ?
Nat looked good. We didn't get enough attacking ball for either him or Crichton to be stand outs in a good way. Angus gave away like 3-4 penalties piggy backing the rabbits out of their own end though, I was filthy with him. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him off the bench again next week.sajjos wrote:
