    They are going to look at this footage and determine that the education didn't work at all and that a bigger lesson still needs to be learned by Haas, to not attack people verbally or physically.

    Jesus, what's your actual problem. This sounds more personal than my hate for Starling (who by the way still sucks).

    Have you never had a bit of push and shove with your mates?

    Nobody was hurt, there was no woman, minority or substances involved. Why can't it just between two team mates?

    Get over it.

    He is playing as if he full well knows that offloads have doubled in NRL Fantasy and he's trying to inflate his score. 7 Offloads in 2 out his 3 games is insane, and if he is playing 70+ mins on an edge then its just more time to try and rack them up.

    Probably can't bring him in this round, but pretty high on watchlist

    Jumping Marlin wrote:Thought this was interesting from SMH over the weekend.  Reported that one of the NRL coaches had provided stats to NRL HQ comparing first 3 rounds of 2022 vs first 3 rounds of 2021.  Arguing that not enough fatigue in the game and best players being taken out of the limelight as a result.  Most surprising to me was how less ground the players covered during a game.  Eg Fullbacks a full km less, which I think is more than 10% reduction.

    The findings are surprising and include:
    ■ There were 319 more runs made by players in the opening three rounds of 2021 compared to the first three rounds of 2022;
    ■ Total metres made were 2456 more in 2021 compared to 2022;
    ■ Total line breaks were 12 more in 2021 compared to 2022;
    ■ There were 28 more offloads in 2021 compared to 2022, indicating there are more players in tackles;
    ■ There have been 151 more penalties in 2022 compared to 2021 following the change to the six-again rule, which is the big difference in the way the game is being played. That’s 151 more stoppages. Each penalty takes about 30 seconds from the time they are blown to play restarting, so that’s 75 minutes extra time lost in the first 24 games of the season. There has been an average of 12 penalties a game in 2022, adding up to about six minutes of wasted time each game;
    ■ There were 159 six agains in the first three rounds of 2021 compared to 87 in 2022, a difference of 72;
    ■ The GPS data is perhaps also revealing, the document showing fullbacks and hookers are running about one kilometre less each game in 2022 compared to 2021, and halves are running about 800 metres a game less.

    TLDR:  game a lot slower in 2022

    And the games have been closer and better IMO

    Have 2 trades lined up this week. Fifi to Haas ( don't let the door hit you on the way out) and I need to get May in for probably Coates.

    Coates is coming off a 40 odd score but could easily go back to getting 20's while May is going to make some cash for sure just looking at the upcoming matchups

    I learnt many years ago not to argue with drunken women, idiots, or my wife.
    I’ll leave it with one last comment.

    Some people are making a judgement based on approximately 15 seconds of video footage.
    Clearly there was something that occurred prior to what we see in the video. There was also probably something that occurred after the video.
    Without seeing that footage, we simply cannot make a call on who was in the right and who was in the wrong. SIMPLES.

    Annoyed at buying Sexton 2 weeks back thinking he had the sought-after dominant playmaker/kicker/goal kicker role sewn up just before Brimson decided he wanted his share, but it is what it is, will fix that mistake to fix another and do Sexton + Clark -> Haas + Koula with $137k to work with, incase the IU suspends Haas just so Matt stops clogging up their e-mail servers/Koula doesn’t look like becoming the preferred option/something else comes up.

    Sexton should man up and put his stamp on the team, maybe it's better for the Titans if AJ plays FB

    Mate, I feel you.  It's hard watching Haas when he's not in your fantasy team;

    Watching Haas score 78:

    The weekend is going okay and then Haas plays and gives you a big slap in the face;

    Pleading in the 60th minute for it to stop but he swings harder:

    But there's no reason to clutch at straws looking for a suspension that simply won't happen;

    no suspension, no, no, no:

    That's right, he will serve NO SUSPENSION;

    That's right, no suspension:

    Don't be silly, you heard me.  Now you can either;

    * Trade Haas in and be all like;

    Haas love!:

    *Or keep rolling without him and face the consequences;

    Endless Haas pain, week after week until you can't take anymore and rage quit:

    If you choose not to trade him in, see it through like a champ and then at the end of the season you can simply pretend the whole year didn't happen, simple!

    Maybe next year sweet Haas:

    There have been some absolutely fucking putrid games this season at the same time though.

    Warriors Tigers
    Tigers Titans
    Manly Bulldogs

    Like genuine "is there any yawnion on" levels of putrid.

    Anyone else bringing in Dyl Brown this week? Managed a way to be able to bring him in without trading Fifita out, at the expense of Sexton and Aitken who both I'm comfortable to sell

    I'd wager there are several cases each season of players having a bit of a rumble when they're on the piss that if someone was lurking with a camera you could make look bad on a 15-second video.

    Take a bunch of meathead league players, get them on the drink and it's not exactly an unexpected result.

    When I was playing footy, I wouldn't say it was a weekly occurrence, but it wasn't surprising for something like that to happen. Nobody really cared, what mattered was you made up and put the shit behind you either that night, or once you were back at training.

    Imagine the scenes if Haas actually misses a week because of this  Twisted Evil . Shoes getting stepped on left right and centre

    Edit : Also pretty confident the 'shoes getting stepped' on is a 100% rock solid defence which has been used to great effect by such renowned defence counsels as.....maybe Mal Meninga
