Because of low hanging fruit joke about TPJ? If also Cleary questions I genuinely want him to get an HIA 5 score on 106 BE and that's not negative, more machiavellian or hope of schadenfreude.
I wake up every morning hoping other teams players will be hit by metaphorical bus.

With an MN of 14,000 Cleary is priced at 73.
Last year he averaged 82 (with current scoring)
I doubt he is going to have a turbo like drop in scoring, so assuming you want him, there are 2 options
a. Try and maximise value and get him at his minimum price, whatever that ends up being (whatever price he is on just before his first century, at a guess)\
b. Get him in now to maximise points from him, even if it means paying slightly more cash.
Koula makes an appetizing cashout to enable Cleary. And if you think he will average more than 70 for the season, then you may as well grab him now.
Given the current rule interpretations, I wouldn't be surprised if he averages in the 60s, so not necessarily an urgent buy. But if the guy you are trading out for him will also lose cash why no tpull the pin.
Yeah 100% agree
Was thinking Cleary most likely end point is a 70-75 average with the way scoring is going (his actual range is probably 60-85)
Anyway you can try and buy low, or you can get the best scorer and captain him for double points.
I think it's still a game about maximising points and not a stock market buy low/sell high deal, so I think it was a great trade last week, this week, and any week you can.
I've done the deed in autofill, where there's MIDs aplenty in my team. Unfortunately my real team is more difficult. 4k short of making it work with JoKing, don't have the backs depth to punt a Aitken or Burton, don't really want to sell anyone else. So it's probably cross fingers and one more week*
*unless Haas gets his life ban, then I can get Cleary easy.

I can go Sexton to Cleary this week (after trading Bird to Koula) however am thinking I will hold off on this trade for one more week.
I think last Thursdays match was a one-off in terms of low scoring. Tigers don't have much in attack with their roster and their injuries to key players. They are trying to get into the grind and this has seen them drag opposition players fantasy scores down. Thinking Sexton has a floor in the 40's with a ceiling of 70. Id be happy with him as a halves partner to cleary at least until after origin.

Pretty comfortable with Sexton and Lolo to Cleary and Koula, think I'll be sticking with that. Leaves me with only Thompson as mid cover though so will be looking to turn a peaking cow into a fallen gun mid very soon

Looking at Bully and Vailea to Walters and Koula. Maybe just Bully to Koula if Vailea is named.

They beat the Roosters and pushed Storm and Panthers while completing at 60% would be a big reason people think that lol

Instead of trying to be objective I've rewatched the Hass video from my perspective as a Hass and Walters owner and noticed a couple of things that warrant pointing out.
It's pretty clear that Kelly jumped on Hass's shoes in an attempt to assault him, couple that with the fact that he was pushing Haas and I think the only logical punishment is a long term suspension.
As for Hass I think his restraint in defending himself while he was clearly afraid for his personal safety is admirable. As an NRL player and professional athlete Kelly is an amazingly strong individual who could have have seriously hurt Hass(a young professional who happens to be deeply religious and also a teetotaler). I believe that the actions of Haas will result in his coach having even more faith in his mental fortitude as well as his willingness to put his body on the line and reward him with 80 minutes a game for the remainder of the season.

I can't help but feel that Kevvy has wanted an opportunity to put Billy in a 5/8, but without it looking like nepotism.
This Kelly injury just seems like an opportunity delivered on a silver platter.
I suspect Gamble's attitude and energy is probably a better result for the Bronco's, but Billy probably has more of Kevvy's confidence to do what Coach Dad wants him to do.

Have you seen the Penrith draw the next month though?Milchcow wrote:
I remember a young Penrith winger making his debut. Scored a bunch of tries in first first 2 weeks. Smashed a 50+ average over his first couple of games. Lets all trade him in some people said
Then, when he cemented a spot in the team, he averaged 23 over the course of the season.
These days people think he'll lose his spot to Taylan May
That's why I don't own Taylan May, even though it has hurt me short term. I think there is every chance he is already priced at his long term average
He’s gonna get DPP come round 6 too.
So you reckon he drops out when To’o is back?

If he can score 2 tries against Souths, he'll get at least a hattrick every week against the shit teams. 60+ average until origin

I think there is but because they only fight a few times a year it's not as good as the week to week nrl fantasy model .Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:

Would definitely recommend giving it a go. Former league player Alex Volkanovski is defending his title this weekend at ufc 273. There's no off season too so it keeps me sane after September

Anyone else following the manufactured outrage that a player coming off contract was spotted talking to another team potentially interested in his services.
This "not a good look, wouldn't have happened in my day" trope is getting boring.
It's a professional sport with large amounts of money at stake, while club loyalty and the chance to actually win something may feature in some players thinking on contracts surely security and compensation are the biggest deciding factors.
Clubs have no problem getting rid of players they no longer see as valuable so players are entitled to get the best deal for themselves (but mostly for their managers )

I'm planning on making one trade this week and more likely than not Fifi will be sold. I may make no trade and give him another week but I wouldn't dream of selling a CTR with DPP averaging 45.8

Mate, To'o walks straight back into the side. If you think May keeps To'o out, you're delusional. He may keep a spot over Staines if he keeps performing but Staines was good last week too to be fair.

Hard to say that a guys floor is in the 40s when he scored a 26 in 80 minutes, and wasnt injured, against the worst team in the comp.
