I was set on Fifi to Talakai or Dylbags but think maybe no trades. I said Fifi less than 65 vs Tigers and he was gone and he got 42 and was horrible to watch as a player. Fifi to a Talakai or even Kobe would mean easy 1 trade to Cleary next week if need be

EDIT: Now someone on Discord telling me official BE is 75

TU: Paulo > Koula and Bhunt > Cleary
TD: Wait a week to see if Koula actually plays

Understand I'm trading in a red dot, but isn't it just a head knock and he's straight back in?

Hunt was always going to be my route to Cleary

I don't think I can go with Walters. I'll probably be wrong, and he'll stick around forever, but I just don't think he lasts as a 6. I don't know why Gamble hasn't been selected as it is.

I think Kevy is worried about the criticisms last year re chopping and changing, and he's now trying to pick and stick for the sake of it.

I know they make light of the father/son thing but at the end of the day he did bring him to the club and now he's in place it'll be really hard to drop him. I don't know how fearsome Mrs Walters is but Kevvie seems like the sort who likes a quiet life away from footy.

That said, I won't be buying him. No Broncos except Haas: that's the rule.

haha - yes true, but changes will have to happen if we don't turn the performances around. Fullback is a disaster zone.. hooker is a two way battle of barely NRL quality players. Five-eighth is about the only position we have any depth. Gamble looks like he'll be 18th man this week, hasn't been named in Q CUP (neither have Kennedy or Brenko but they would be cover for Capes/Riki). He has to be reasonably close..

I know a lot are waiting to get rid of him but Coates could be an option to fill that WFB gap

Someone mentioned the price prediction was fairly off on the website - it was still using the original magic number at the start of the year - updated this to 14000. Should look a little better now.

TU: Fifita Thompson/Coates to Cleary Koula (just to get Cleary mainly as saved up most of the cash)

TD: B.Smith to May/Talakai (uses up my cash back and have no avenues to get Cleary for a while)

If you started with Coates he's performing exactly as expected

King>Hetherington + Sexton>Cleary fits my budget so perfectly, but I have the strong feeling that Kobe is a trap.

Probably Walters. Got a 55 or so in Round 1, if he's keen to run the ball and gets a try assist or two he has the highest ceiling.

I didn't watch last week's game so I don't know why Jones only played 54 minutes but if he plays 80 he could do pretty good as well.

Today in "Coach's will always talk up their players", Des speaks highly of Koula for a couple of mins in his coach's media - https://www.seaeagles.com.au/news/2022/04/06/coach-media-des-hasler/

Of course, the same afternoon he was ruled out of the match. Maybe pulled up sore after captains run, but usually these media sessions are done after the captains run (at very least, they are always that way at the Broncos, and I think that is an NRL requirement)

I think its clear Koula is in longer term plans for Manly. Doesn't help Fantasy coaches who want him in the short term.

Seems like it was just a match fitness thing. Barry Toohey seems to think he'll be up for closer to 80 this week.

Also suggests Sue may start for one of the Safs.

Would you still do something like Amone to Koula if you could grab Latrell for Clark and plug the WFB gap?
