I’d gone to the nail biter the week before against Tigers, and got so blind drunk by half time - was so nervous I was drinking beers faster than they could sell them to me - that I couldn’t even remember which end Soward kicked the FG from.

Regret not trying harder to get GF tickets, money was tight and figured we’d make and win plenty more. But that privilege is only reserved for Roosters and Storm fans, apparently.

But I do remember watching with a bunch of mates who were nervous at HT because we were losing 8-6 and just feeling completely zen. Just on game flow could tell the Dragons would run them over in the 2nd half, which we duly did. Second favourite footy moment behind the Steelers winning the 1992 Tooheys Challenge.

I sadly got tickets to the game along with what seemed like 70,000 Dragons fans. Roosters robbed when BMoz was easily out for the first try. Going into the break up 8-0 against a Dragons team that struggled to chase points for 2 years would have been a very different game

814 and rank finally into four digits at 9.6k

Looking at Lolo, Klemmer and JFH as MID options for next round

Ponga will be popular no doubt as well

Scraped over the 800 benchmark with 811.
Not bad, but had some low scores in the pack.
Time to zog and zug this week... Kobe-one-kentobi will be departing my squad

I raise you an Adam Blair vintage performance where he scored a try in Anzac Day game v Storm in 80 min performance for 13m

Dragons shouldn't even have made the GF.

Jeremy Smith should have been penalised for knees in the back of Benji Marshall with scores locked and a couple of minutes to go. Tigers gave the ball away and Dragons went up the other end and scored.
Smith was charged by judiciary after game just to run salt into the wound

Dragged kicking and screaming by (C)leary, Grant and Fifita to 873 for the week, up about 5k places to 6Kish.

Team is a mess though, cash generation stalling fast, my mids paper thin and Billy Walters scored a 6. Saved 5 trades so far but probably going to need to make a couple each week for the next few.

Tossing up between bringing Gun/Cow (Lee/Haas) or taking a punt on some fallen guns (Crichton/Ponga). Think I'll hold SCrichton through R13 at this point, hes decent enough in the 13-17

They've been opening around midday Monday following the 8pm Sunday finishes so I'm probably not too optimistic of anything tonight. Would be a nice surprise though

Early trade thoughts - Critta and Burton are both holds for their round 13 status, but it's also likely one of them plays centre for the blues. Someone slap me and screw my head back on and tell me not to gamble it and trade one please and thank you. I'll also accept if you egg me on down this dangerous path

It's funny, it was one of those match-ups where at the start of the round I saw his squad and was like "ha, he's got Mulitalo and Suli?! I've got this W easy". And then I got smashed. Well done again on the great PODs, Revraiser.

    Cheers mate.

It's only a round, but I don't see any of the picks as that outlandish personally. Suli a starting centre for 394k, historically a risky player but if he nailed the centre spot he could average 40 or so like he is. Talakia and more so Mulitalo were more cash gen picks. Talakai depending on his role moving forward, to be moved if it changes and Mulitalo a train to get off when it looks like stopping.
After starting this season pretty bad, I had to make some moves to try something. One of which was also dumping Sexton a couple rounds back and admitting I got that pick wrong  big time.

I'll probably crash n burn this season, but going out swinging that's for certain.

I have happily traded Burton and likely trade Crichton out this week too. Can't resist Talatalo.

871 has halved my rank down to 4508, no idea what I do next week, blew my load on IPap this week, so only 50k in the bank… the only way I’m getting close to Cleary is losing Burton and Wilton, but depending on price changes that may not even be enough, could do worse than settling for Haas, but I’m getting so fucking sick and tired of being on the outside looking in with this Buzz-Lightyear-chinned prick.

859 and went from 3415 to 1603 this week.

Cleary obviously the reason for the rank rise as I had Burton, Critta, Aitken, Jing, Fermor, Mann, and Ilias.  Nanai in the EMG too. At least my third loop option of the Penis rose to the occasion.  cheer

Had Yeo and Cook too which helped.

Not idea on trades yet, might try and aim for Haas somehow.  Or Fifita if I can't.
