Barring Luki’s 60 last week his scores over his career have been very average so leaning towards Walker. Anyone got any solid reasons as to which way to go?

Think I’m locking in Crichton > Ponga, looking at Dwalker or Luki for the second trade.

Maybe Jones for an extra 30k? What's his long term prospects though?
Or Tuilagi for an extra 40k? Has looked better recently actually.... even though lots of us traded him out originally
Jones can get Taaffe dream -2 error only 12 base 36pts in his sleep in 60 mins

I’m tossing up the same two. Can’t split em. Think Luki has more upside but Walker probably has better job security.

If I could 1 trade Ponga without selling Burton this week that's all I'd do. Can't with Jing so 2 trade.

Would you go Jones or Tuilagi you think mate? Maybe even getting both is an option to refresh my cows....

I had Tui since the start. His real average is 45 from last 2 games

Luki has last weeks 60 and then a 61 in 34mins with a try. After that low 40’s and under. I could maybe stretch to BSmith but again his good scores seem to be when starting at Hooker. Tough decisions! Unless I just downgrade Leo to a nuff but none of those options stand out either!

Had him too but punted him early. Could be an 2021 Avo scenario and need to just swallow it and get him back in

It’s hard looking at stats when it comes to youngsters like Luki vs established players.
Youngsters can change quite rapidly. Football skill, physique, understanding of their position and team amongst other things.
Makes looking at older stats possibly quite deceiving.

Not a Walters owner but really should be making a trade down to a cow or a calf or whatever they are but it’s just too grossWT2K wrote:Who are fellow Walters owners trading him out to? Not really liking anything on offer. Bit meh on taaffe and Lee

Not an urgent trade out for me, could easily end up at 6 or 9 in the next couple of weeks. Can sit in EMG until forced to do something with him, scoring 20-30 as bench HOK.WT2K wrote:Who are fellow Walters owners trading him out to? Not really liking anything on offer. Bit meh on taaffe and Lee

Re: Re: NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 32 - My Shitto and your Shitto were sitting by the fire....
So having a nice cup of tea and had one last look at my team and realised I can get a keeper in DFifita this week with 8k to spare
Having a look there really are only a few players that can go huge and he has fairly low ownership (10%) in the top 5000 with some probably trading him out recently or dealing with Cleary.
Also realised I can still afford Mcinnes/ACrichton with options next week if I wanted
Lee at his price only has to really score 25-30 to make 150k
Jags a meat pie every second game too, poor mans Coates but at his price who really cares and its fun cheering on the big fella too
Basically if he can stay injury free he should go ok but the bar is very low and he has long legs
JKing + SCrichton out
DFifita + Lee in
Grant
Taumalolo Cotter MKing
DFifita Fermor
Cleary (c) Schneider
Talakai Tago
Papenhuyzen Hynes May
Randall
Mann
Starling
Fermor
Penisini
Lee
Ilias
Koula

Finally caught up. That Pappy trade out talk is up with the worst thing I’ve read in a while. The WFB is struggling hardcore this season. Teddy doesn’t look himself with the Roosters still figuring out combinations, so not sure when he will be back to his best. Ponga tonned up against a dragons team that’s very ordinary in defence and struggles with the quick play the balls. I can’t see him getting that many offloads and tacklebusts a week especially with eels and storm next. Pappy your always going to get the trys and points from the conversions and easily looks the second best behind Hynes.

Yeah it could go either way, makes my team look stronger at the top end but definitely relying on guys like Lee,Ilias etc putting up decent scores. I guess most people have a similar situation

I'm probably doing the same thing but going to take the punt on Luki instead of Jones. Less immediate job security but coming in off a bigger last round score, I think he's a better player and plays 13. Looks good for 40 base playing 80 mins but aware I might have to trade again if his role changes.

I entirely agree, and I said as much then. The only reason you should ever be selling Papy is to get Cleary, and even then, odds are most teams have someone else they could sell instead to get him.
Papy, Hynes and a cheapie in the 3rd WFB slot is the way to go, unless you have a gun CTR with WFB dual like Manu or Holmes.
