Had as 1 trade Jing to Luki but Payten makes me nervous trusting what forwards he'll pick. Wish I had money to do Jing to Ponga

I'm in two minds. I can go Crichton to Ponga to strengthen scoring 17, or Billy Smith to Taafe to fix bench and cash gen, with the latter trade also keeping/giving me much better DPP coverage everywhere. Think I'll be doing the latter, but will fear watching Ponga throughout the season as if I don't get him this week then doubt I'll be getting him at all, so the "Eels and Storm next" aspect is irrelevant.

Jumping on Luki after one good game is a hell of a punt. He does look like a weapon though for sure.

If I get Ipap my 17-21 is Ilias, Leo, Koula, Edrick Billy Smith.

If I get Angus 17-21 is T. May, Ilias, Edrick, Koula and Billy Smith.

I’m weighing up  squad depth and with Covid around I’m so torn..... Angus gives me better squad depth and a better 17th man but Ipap gives me a better gun but weaker 17th man.

Am I better going with Angus and better squad depth? My gut is saying do that over Ipap but want your thoughts please.

I also only have 6 round 13 players how many are we all looking to have as it’s an opportunity to move up some ranks.

If you're worried about your number of round 13 players, then don't trade IPap or Angus, trade someone who plays round 13. Or just hold trades.

There's literally no point worrying about COVID either, don't understand that.

8 Round 13 players for me currently. Only have 3 Origin players.

8 for me currently too. 9 if Koula pops up. 10 if Yeo misses Origin. (No chance).

Maybe I should hold Nanai and try for a bye round strategy play this year.

I think Edrick can some solid money.

Nah what I meant was if I go Ipap my 17-21 was probably too light on especially to lots of teams I’m seeing in here. But I’m not sure maybe it’s not too light on.

Not sure, looks like Gilbert was used in the bench rotation, still got decent minutes though. Maybe Payton was easing Luki in the first 5 rounds?

If you want a R13 player, get Lolo, otherwise get Ipap and then get Lolo later.

I'm not worrying much about R13, there's so few guns playing that week (basically just Lolo, Curran, Burton and potentially Tohu and TPJ)

Probably not as hard as last year, I've got 9 in my team who play rd 13 atm.
The bye rounds are a bit more balanced this year so you can have a good amount of players for each bye round without having to tear apart your team.
Last year I targetted round 13 as round 17 didn't have much on offer.

Plenty of choice for Rd 13 this year:
Fermor, Sexton, Brimson, Cotter, Luki, Nanai, Tolo, Tago, SCrichton, May, TPJ, Burton, Ming, Koula, SJ, Tohu?, Curran, Aitken, Walsh, Schneider, Starling, Walker, Manu, Radley

rd 17:
Cobbo, Reynolds, DeBelin, Lomax, DBrown, Moses, Mahoney, Russell, Ipap, Randall, Mann, Gagai, Jones, Arrow, Koloa, Hynes, Talakai, McInnes, Storm players, and every single Tigers star

If you are bringing in a non-R13 player who averages 50, you would get the same points value as someone who averages 43 but does play R13 at that point. Food for thought.

Does anybody else feel like the short game this season is going to come down to Tago + May(/Crichton) versus Talakai and Mulitalo? #teamtamago #tamagosauce
