Taafe's 36 isn't too appealing, not sure if there's 100k+ of value there? His upcoming draw does look juicy, plus he's an up and comer with potential. Lee is a player I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. Just a dogshit NRL player and poor fantasy scorer. No real obvious cheapies are popping up

Did you watch him on the weekend? He looked really good, ran hard and the Knights were kicking to him in attack. His errors mostly came from contesting attacking kicks.
He's not a must have but I think he's a significantly better player than you're giving him credit for, he passed the eye test.

I did not watch any games on the weekend. Perhaps he has significantly improved from last year?

Garrick wasn't in great shape at the end of the last game.

It definitely looked like it, he was running hard and making metres out of his own end. Then again, playing at all is an improvement from last year since he didn't play any games last year because of his foot injury

Grant is the best option. Curran maybe, don’t know about Tohu’s status. TPJ a more riskier option.

Suspensions and thuggery aside. What sort of minutes do we think Flegler gets? 58 last week probably not going to happen with Haas around.

At the moment sharks props are playing:
Rudolph = 45mins
Tolman = 45 mins
Hunt = 25 mins
Fifita = 25mins
So they are gonna need to find more mins in that rotation somewhere.
It would make sense for Finucane to come back and play a 40-45min prop role, right?
I reckon you're onto something here, McInnes could also steal 10mins of hooking if they want to give Brailey an early shower or they think they can increase Brailey's output that way. I'm giving him a week (his BE is 52) but there's every chance he returns to gun scores now

Sticky is a great one for providing fantasy with a rookie raider forward over the years. Not that many have kicked on apart from Young

For me, I can’t quite do JKing + SCrichton to Cleary + Taafe. Have decided that having three centres over $500k (four including Crichton) is too many. Who would you trade out along with JKing to get Cleary - Burton, Tago, or Bird? I can see arguments for and against all three - Burton seems to have the greatest potential to go bust/boom, Tago is a rookie centre, and Bird has been a mixed bag at five-eighth. Possibly leaning towards Tago.
Tago is probably the smart play but I'd personally just lean towards Bird mate.

Apart from you having no Hooker cover, I wish my team was as stacked as this - Cleary / Haas / D.Fifi / Hynes / Pappy / Hunt as back-up Half.mrbrownstone wrote:Any thoughts on what to do with this lot?
Randall
Haas Mann M King
DiFi Jones
Cleary Hunt
Tago Penisini
Hynes Pap Crichton
Schneider Nanai Tuilagi Taaffe
Ilias Coates Thompson Koula
Was toying with Coates + Nanai to Lee + Crichton (or maybe just Coates to Lee and bank some cash) but not sure either are really worth it? Maybe just bank the trades this week?

Is having to play Lee and looping one of Ilias,Coates and Thompson a good idea though?

Taafe seems like a Kieran Foran type player to me in the sense that they're good in reality but it doesn't translate to fantasy scores. Needing 6 goals and a try assist to go above 20 points doesn't seem great to me. He might grab a double this week and get his price rises going fast but I don't think he'll be a great cash cow.

If you're looking for a cheap-ish player he's not the worst?
Maybe Jones for an extra 30k? What's his long term prospects though?
Or Tuilagi for an extra 40k? Has looked better recently actually.... even though lots of us traded him out originally

It’s not ideal. Lee could completely shit the bed, or produce similar scores for 250,000 less. If you’re not keen to play Lee, option A is the go.
