I am happy to take a high reward risk to have a chance to leapfrog lots of teams.

The only reason he is priced at 42 is that after a week at CTR, then an injury it held back his pricing, then the only 3 weeks we have seen in his new role with Talakai he has been killing it. If Talakai is the enabler that I think he is, like Mitchell / Turbo last season, its going to be a fun ride.

If you want to win this comp you need to take some calculated risks with huge upside potential if they pay off. The very best ones are those where any non-owner says week after week, this just can't continue. When it happened last season with highly owned Turbo / Cleary lots of people were in with a chance.

If it happens with PODs this season, its going to be carnage for any non-owners that can't keep up each week, while a few race to the top to battle it out.

Shouldn't you worry about finishing in the top 10k for s change, before worrying about winning the comp ?

Another five pages of Mulitalo hype posts today? Sure will be exciting.

    TU: Sexton/Clark to Lolo/Luki
    TD: Sexton/Bullemor to Lolo/Lee

Won’t be playing Lee in the 17

I stopped reading here but imagine there's no.mention of the many others you've jumped on in "similar circumstances" that didn't "work out great".

If I'm tracking this right you're using two trades to sell Hynes and Papy this week? Good luck getting into the top 10k let alone "winning the comp".

I'm currently inside top 10k, need to take risks to have a chance to win.

Just signed in for a quick read and this is the first post I’ve read.

Surely no one could be trading those 2 players out this week? Do I do the Grandpa Simpson hat turn around and log straight back out

Have a read of my team tracker for the rationale for getting Cleary and Mulitalo this week, at the expense of Papy and Hynes.

Further point that if you have had a bad start things are not irretrievable, but the way to make up ground is not double trading to pods every week but to target as many solid players as judiciously possible for round 13 and holding enough trades to get decent numbers for round 17. There are hundreds of points available to make up there, which is quite a lot more than the difference in scoring between a Mulitalo and a May over the next month.

Ain't nobody winning the comp from 10,000th at round 6. It just isn't happening. It definitely isn't happening by sideways trading guns every week.

The Canberra Times sports reporter says it will be Young straight in to start, but agree with you, the toe injury seems like a cover. Was named again in NSW Cup for this week even after playing the full 80 there last week. Can't figure it out, don't think he was all that bad prior to missing games. Annoying the game is late Sunday.

I just want to be able to see green NOW and move him over.

As for how he was playing, thought he was his usual johnny on the spot self, not sure on missed tackle ratio or anything.

There is no reasoning to explain trading out 2 of the best WFB guns in a dumpster fire year in the WFBs. There is ripping your team apart to get Cleary and then there is that. Insanity mate

For me , two things have been the deciding factor so far this season
    1) Not starting with Haas and/or captaining him
    2) Staring with Burton & Aitkin as your set and forgot centre. It would have been a good strategy if, like every other years, the centres were scoring 20's & 30s but Tago, May, Mulitalo, Penisini are all doing well. So teams that invested in other areas while playing with cheap Tago/Penisini etc combination have flourished.

I had the worst start to the Fantasy ever but the goal is not do anything stupid and play the waiting game with the Trades.

Didn’t know it was taking out Papy AND Hynes.

Hynes probably in the top 3 most important players to own IMO
