    For me , two things have been the deciding factor so far this season
    1) Not starting with Haas and/or captaining him
    2) Staring with Burton & Aitkin as your set and forgot centre. It would have been a good strategy if, like every other years, the centres were scoring 20's & 30s but Tago, May, Mulitalo, Penisini are all doing well. So teams that invested in other areas while playing with cheap Tago/Penisini etc combination have flourished.

    I had the worst start to the Fantasy ever but the goal is not do anything stupid and play the waiting game with the Trades.

    It's like you looked into the soul of my team and tore it out lol

    Didn't start with Haas, chose Fifita instead. He's started to redeem himself but playing captain roulette without Haas set me back big time.

    Went for the Burton/Aitken set and forget centre strategy. It made me cheap out in other areas and constantly been up against that.
    Aitken is the second highest total points scorer at CTR so I'm glad I have him but Burton was probably someone I over invested in.

    Elliott Whitehead has been ruled out this week after suffering a head clash at training. He required plastic surgery on a facial laceration & needed his teeth realigned. No mention of facial fractures so hopefully available in 1-2 weeks

    Just one trade this week, Nanai>Crangus

    Randall
    Haas Crangus Gilbert
    Fifita Wilton
    Cleary Mann
    Aitken Tago
    Hynes Papenhuyzen May
    Starling King Schneider Tuilagi
    SCrichton Ilias Thompson Koula

    Was considering trading Wilton to Jackson but I am still not convinced that is not sideways with JJ’s minutes still not certain. Too risky this week and likely can’t afford it next week- so many trade ideas go this way Laugh 3

    Yep, is part of my rationale for trading him out. Last game of the round, with many having Koula as well, some are getting a 0 if he doesn't suit up, or a very low score if he has to retire early, or isn't getting involved.

    Multiple reasons to trade him out:
    - Ankle injury risk of not playing or coming off early;
    - HIA risk throughout the season;
    - Has peaked after a 4 try game; and
    - needs multiple tries to score well.

    While I will not ever contemplate trading Papy or Hynes out, I can see in your head the reasoning fits and that's important. While you have played like this for few years now hopefully you are learning from some of the "mistakes" and if trading out Hynes & Papy fit into that learning then you are well on your way to the championship. Good luck Matt.

    Who would have thought that investing in 45 scoring centres would have led to our down fall. Is there a safe place that you know of- for recovery and rehabilitation?

    Those are good points and arguments for trading Papenhuyzen out. I'm almost swayed.

    Still I'd rather cop a 20 from Coates if he's a late out but comes back next week for a hat-trick. Maybe if he's out next week too there's a stronger case to trade him but otherwise I don't want to be reactionary over a player that over 95% of the top 5000 own.

    I did WFH while I was in Covid ISO... worst thing for me. I do 10 minutes of work and take a 2 hour break.

    At least when I am at work I only take a 1 hour break every 10 minutes.
