Pretty sure I must have been drunk when I traded Davey in, still making money slowly.

There is simply not game to be played this season that is one sided in the Broncos favour. It'll be another shitfight, Broncos may get the chocolates, but I'm sure the Doggies will have plenty of opportunities through-out the game.

I don't quite understand the chatter around Burton losing money (to be worth traded out then back in). One 50 point game and price drops end. Last week was obviously a bit of a shitter for him but still looks like a 45's guy to me. I understand trading him out to get a proper gun in, but otherwise he's not an urgent out.

I thought Dogs were looking good and not infringing any worse than any other teams do and surprise surprise usual suspect, Gerard Sutton, engineers a load of 6 agains to justify sin bin soon after.

I did it to avoid a disastrous score from Bullemor. Surprisingly okay trade.

Bit of a dud game last week. 20 at half time then just 4 points in 27 minutes.

Think I'll probably play him again this week and hope he gets through more work. I have to play either him or Ilias, not exactly spoilt for choice am I lol.

Vital. Top two players to own are Cleary and Haas.

Haas isnt vital when Carrigan is back, and goes back to 60-65 minutes.
Currently priced about right for what he will score over the season.
Murray has the higher upside potential at the same price point.

    Yeah but I'd argue its

    1. Cleary

    2. Haas

    3. Hynes, iPap, Cook, Grant, DCE, whoever you rate here

I think you can get away without Haas if you have Cleary and some of the other guns. He consistent but he's not going to hurt you the way not owning Cleary or even Hynes/DCE might.

I know the Chin is a "must-have" uber-gun, but trading out DCE, Pappy, Hynes, I.Pap or Fifita for him seems a little counter productive.
I mean, Cleary may indeed average 80-85 for the season, but he will play SOO and miss games, how much higher than your guns is he going to score?
Play a longer game, cash out a cow and bank some $, then use 2 maxed cows to get him in a week or two.

I’m starting to cook my jets and tend to agree.

Might down grade king to taffe, build some bank and see how the next round plays out.

    this is the way

Had a month now to be shaping up to get cleary. Shouldn't be knee jerking a gun out of the team.

Yeah, the play here would be to cash out one of the peaked cheapies this week to raise money then next week sell two more to get Cleary in, that's how I've managed to get Cleary this week (sold Critta to Koula and Leo to Edrick last week, now I can do Teddy and JKing to Cleary and Talakai)

Tried to get more specific injury info regarding Jake Turpin. Kevvie has said it's the bone around the peck that's very sore and he needs a spell. Read into that what you like.

Minus the one injury effect game as a starting second rower he averages 39 for his career
Mulitalo removing his injuy effected games (He finished the year early with 3 HIA effected games going off and not coming back)
    averages 36pts

Honestly I'd have grabbed Davey when he was first named edge a few weeks ago if I knew Schuster would have been a while. Better option than Leo

Agreed, leave him at ctr all season and worry about other parts of your team, its not worth burning trades on.
His draw is decent the next 6 weeks

Better value in CTR though, Burton not the gun we all hoped

Talk me out of trading in TMM.

    He wasn't a terrible player.

    I see no other cows.

Other than the raider we dont speak of.

100%, more would have jumped on and we might not even had several pages about it
Friday will be fun though, "when does schuster come back?" "how many weeks does Davey need?"

His scoring potential is probably similar to Will Kennedy, but he plays for a team at the opposite end of the table.

Might as well throw his 2 big minute games at Eels 2 seasons ago in the bin. He's 32pt avg with 65min avg from 4 with Manly and the 80 min 37 and try in one game skew upwards quite a bit

    Thanks for the TU/TD votes.
I'm set on picking up Pong-dong, now he isn't hampered by the injury cloud and has finally committed to the Knights long-term (I wonder how much extra coin his dad's wrangling got out of the Knights??) he may have bottomed out.
I would love to have Talakai sitting in my centres, but Tago isn't exactly a spud.
Ridding myself of Coates (has been cooling his heels in my Emg all year) for Taafe will do.
