Man, did you watch the wrong half to understand Talakai.

You probably need to watch them both, no?

He’s built like a Rubik’s cube, at some point a strong but more mobile CTR will show him up for lack of lateral movement in defense.

Won’t matter much for fantasy tho.

97 in one half and 10 in the second will be hard to beat as a swing lol.

My opinion, I think Edrick is in their top side as long as he stays fit and playing ok. Young probably takes Tuala's spot imo. That seemed to be general consensus around here.

The Knights mentioned in pre season he would come back slowly through reserve grade given he had spent so much time out. Done that now and looked good on the weekend.

This is overlooked. That side of Manlys defence was atrocious. Most centres would have had the same success last night. It's not just because it was Talakai that that played out how it did.

Aside from last week, Edrick has come across as a really lazy player with nothing special to offer. Love to be proven wrong. But this is for a cashout anyway mostly right, what else is there.

People have been saying Harper is dogshit for weeks, he’s probably a bit underdone due to COVID, couldn’t crack 1st grade at the Bulldogs… but even so, it’s a pretty spectacular implosion. When was the last time a back got hooked - could be before unlimited interchange lol

So we are now at the point where anything less than 2 tries and 70 fantasy points from Talakai is a failure on Craig Fitzgibbons part?

A great team enhances individual performance.
This is what we see at the Panthers, Sharks and the Storm this season.
Think of players like May, Tago, Josh King, Talakai, Mulitalo.

DCE saving his score was Hurculean from a fantasy perspective, beautiful.

Yeah, Personally I'm not taking anything away from Matt/Talakai at all, good on him/them. But there was literally a massive hole where Talakai literally just ran forward, very slight dummy to the left. Even if no dummy he scores. It was that easy, anybody could've scored. It was like the Kodi Nikorima hole from a couple weeks ago against Cowboys.

Now if the refs would quit fucking the Rabbits at every opportunity, maybe Ilias and Taaffe can join the list bounce

Dont agree at all, Talakai didnt just teleport to the 'hole' and pop through. It is the build up, anticipation, confidence, Nrl.. players take advantage. Is this tank going straight through, will he draw and send Muli away, will he throw two guys off him and head in field... This all adds to it.

Is talakai the first centre to ton up? Capewell 2017 comes to mind but I can't remember if he was 2nd row or centre that game
