    Another fun fact.
40% of Talakai's tries and 50% of his try assists this year came in the 40 minutes where he was being marked by Morgan Harper

Titans don't have experienced heads in key positions and don't have any way to turn it around. Looking like a bottom 4 team

Souths missing the experienced halfback and will be lucky to scrape into the 8. This is what happens when club administration lets fans decide who to sign (https://bit.ly/3rNCPMZ) means you pay overs for a winger and are left with no money to spend in the important positions. ARey has shown this week he is still capable of leading an underperforming team to a win they probably have no right getting
AJ is not on that much mate around 300-350k he’s not the reason we did not keep Reyno. Our issue is we need to hold the ball we just aren’t doing it and we need a bit of speed out wide I think Tass will come in and stay in the team now. We hold the ball we will start getting some wins.

I am sure few of the coaches in here can advice Holbrook on what to try next.

    D. Fifi would make an exceptional 7 I reckon. I see flashes of Andrew Johns when Fifi gets his mitts on the ball

When I played primary school, we were a pretty small school and barely had a 13. and only about half the team actually played footy on weekends. The teacher was more a supervisor than coach. So we had a kid-devised a plan of playing footy for most of the set. Then on the 4th if nothing was happening I (as dummy half) would give it to our captain, who was basically a Fifita/Talakai type, with a full head of steam. He’d either carry a few for 20m, setting up the 5th tackle, or score a try. I think the Titans should give that a go.

As a D. Fifita owner I had no problem him playing ctr but his low score was his fault not the coach's...listening on abc radio there were 2 instances where he dropped the ball both times where good points beckoned if he had of caught it. So blame his lack of basics (keep your eye on the ball into your hands) but it's unfair imo to blame Holbrook. Sure he only scored 28 but he's averaged 64 over the last 3 games so I'm not going to criticize D. Fifita too much except to say attention to basics is very important.

Fifita needs to own his potential, he looks like he doesn't care enough to become more consistent.

Harper marked him? That’s generous. Harper stood on the same side of the field. That’s about all he did

Everyone seems to focus on the first try where harper was caught infield. The other 4 tries he tried tackling low as he should have and Talakai busted out of the tackle, as he has done something like 35 other times in the last 4 games. DCE was no more successful at tackling him, nor Gagai, or anyone else he has been running over every week.

Big day out for the Bludgers.
Heading into Newy to watch the Knights take it to our second enemy - the Eels.
A few players up this afternoon: Cleary, Moses, I.Pap, Penis, Ponga, Randall, Mann, BroJo, Starling, Schnitzel.
    Super-Sunday it is.
Looking forward to a Ponga & Cleary double banner.
Will be watching Mann closely, if he's off he is on the chopping block to get on to the Hasting express.
Would be a nice earner ITB as well for my future Haas fund.

Edit: if the Mann goes well, Nanai can become Hastings instead.

I think the problem is in modern football the art of a good legs tackle is not taught because it's all about tying up the ball so they are taught to go high. Sure the 3rd defender goes around the legs but by then the player has been tackled. So players come through the system not really knowing how to tackle around the legs so when a monster like Talakai runs havoc & then the tactic of how to contain him is tackle him around the legs it's going to fail. There are good legs tacklers like Jurbo, Arrow, Murray but they are forwards I can't really think of any backs that are good legs tacklers.

Nanai got a fine for the tackle that got him binned.

Should play next week if you are planning to hold him.

Looked a deserved binning to me. Third man in and lifting between the legs, dude lands on his head. See ya later.

Was surprised there were a few comments saying he shouldn't be binned until I saw it was Nanai Laughing
