Re: R9 discussion
Fifita to IPap seems a no brainer.
Also agree one of the centres should go, probably Crichton.
Adam Elliott is worth a look pending team lists.

Re: R9 discussion
I’d suggest Fifita to Angus. Then if we wanted a 2nd, maybe Critter to TPJ as we start to build to Rd 13. BroJo may also need moving if benched on TLT.
Don’t forget Koula is our 5th centre before trades.

Re: R9 discussion
Crichton has peaked and we have Koula as a back up for both backline positions til Turbo is back at least. My vote is him and Haas Fifita out for top tier edg/mid and whoever we think is good value.
If BroJo is benched he's a trade ahead of Crichton and if he's out then he could be used as a loop for the week one of the Souths players, MKing or Schneider.
Burton is a better backup half option over Ilias but not sure he's worth the extra $150-200k we could use elsewhere.
EDIT: Meant Fifita, not Haas.

Re: R9 discussion
DFifita and SCrichton out for me, gives us $1,412,000 inc bank to play with.
Looking at MID and EDG, shortlisted
IPap 873k
Yeo 793k
Klemmer 686k
Angus 619k
Schuster 604k
IPap leaves us 539k. Then looking at guys like A. Elliot, DWalker and Tuilagi. Not too keen on the first two, Tuilagi could still make close to 150k with a 40 average, but might've missed the boat at this point.
Yeo leaves 619k, so could be paired with Angus or Schuster.
Don't mind the Yeo + Angus combo at this stage.

Re: R9 discussion
I think Fifita + Crichton to EDG + ? is the best move
Whether we do primo gun like iPap and then best available, or whether we go for 2 slightly cheaper like Yeo/Angus is probably the big decision

Re: R9 discussion
I agree with the above, I personally prefer 2 players with upside vs gun + cow
Depth will be pushed soon and Ipap could be targeted as a luxury before the second bye
And I think there is a lack of decent cows at the moment pending TLT
Bang for buck ACrichton with his DPP is a good option
TPJ is a more expensive option here too
Schuster looked good on his return and while perhaps a tier down his price/job security/first bye all appeal.
There may be not huge value with him but capable of scoring big on his day and a bit of a POD
I think we lock these trade outs now and have a vote for Gun+cow vs mid+mid

Yeah I don't mind Angus + Schuster too or Klemmer + Angus to leave some bank for the BroJo upgrade soon. IPap before Rd 17 sounds good too.

Re: R9 discussion
Keen on Angus, still a little weary of Schuster.
Fitzgibbon if named to start second row could be a goer.
Carrigan would be a POD but not sure if there's as much value as there as we'd like.
I would be keen on Klemmer if it weren't for the byes.

Fair calls mate. Also wondering whether DSaifiti starts to pick his workload back up and Klemmer doesn't have to keep carrying the team. Feel he's just a solid option you can set and forget in the FR and been out of favour for origin.
Angus one of those players that if he's killing it irl, it translates to fantasy and hard to overlook for origin. Even if he's average he probably still plays if no one else is putting their hand up.

Re: R9 discussion
My thoughts around some of these middies is we need to take a risk somewhere
Either they gun it and we get their scores and price upgrades possibly allowing us to turn into the top tier guns if we have spare trades in the second half
Or they stay at their current price and we hope depth helps us
I think we just have to decide if we want to have more fun and be riskier with trades like Elliot or going the safer route and hoping others fail with a slow burn up the rankings
What you might not do for your own it might be fun to do here
