Also if I trade out Haas it is just another gun I have to get back in. Starting to make it difficult on myself later in the year.

I don't mind the idea of trading Haas, but you have to factor re the above that you'll get an NPR score for Haas this week (lets say its 30). Round 13 obviously a bye round so it depends how you use trades for numbers in that round (ie round 13 isnt a direct Haas vs Lolo pts imo)

I'd prefer the trade if Lolo was closer to 600. Right now he's probably peaked (unless he puts up a huge score.. certainly could happen)

His last 5 AVG is 6 pts above his season average and he's had no attacking returns. You could make the arguement that his base is above his BE atm.

    Sales, but not cars! haha.

On another note, I just saw on FB that BroJo has hyper-extended his elbow and is out for 3-4. I'm sure more will come, but damn.

I've gone from telling myself 0 trades this week to now locking in:

    Haas -> Lolo
    BroJo -> Hastings

TBH I feel great about it. The two coming in are likely both keepers... I say likely as Hastings plays for the Tigers... he passes the eye test and is everywhere for the Tigers, surely the first name on the sheet and seems to be the alpha of the pack.

Dylan Walker is tempting but Manly look a bit stronger this week, not sure what mins he plays?

Tass is a fairly gross option imo but with a low BE it may be worth the punt to put some cash aside.

If you've got trades up your sleeve, I'd take a punt on Seyfarth.

He should get a good score this week at least, and potentially for a few more after that too.

That's why I'm giving him at least another week.

Already losing Fifita, don't want to spend trades on both my gun forwards unless absolutely necessary p

He’s on Staggs. Tass is a pretty good defender though.

Was gonna play Koula but now he has Covid or the flu I’m worried.

Can't you just play him and if he is out Tass comes in? (Assuming you have both)

    NRL PHYSIO

Confirmation of a minor hamstring strain for Luciano Leilua, is expected to miss just 1-2 weeks. Usually would struggle to return in the 2 week timeframe but with the Tigers playing Sunday night in Round 10 it gives him a shot

    TPJ or Lolo

Purely who you’d prefer to cheer for/watch

I think Lolo will be more consistent points scoring (have called him mr consistent in my team tracker every week),

Tpj more voila tile scoring, higher highs and lower lows but average the same, dual is handy if you need it but there is always a potential for something silly and suspension worthy

I’ve purposely avoided TPJ as I don’t want any heartbreaks or nervousness watching

bigbruno wrote:I'm surprised the Haas trade out hasn't gained more legs. Prior to the news today, he's got an injury which has affected his last two games and is now taking a break.. i doubt he'll be bullet proof come next week and should it flare up again, his BE is already 80 and with an average of 60 in the next few weeks he's going to drop near 50k. Throw in Origin (I know he's normally a bench player, but he will play and further aggravate the shoulder in a more heated arena)

I just can't see how he's going to not be below 800k come post Origin and then a bargain pickup.

Trading him to Lolo who looks like he's found his feet again seems logical. Lolo has a good floor, great JS an average of 50 with 0 attacking returns so far.. Last 5 AVG of 56 with his fitness and minutes up.

The only question mark has to be is it worth burning 2 trades for (Out and back in) but in the short-mid term here's the math:

    Lolo avg 56 for 5 weeks (9-13) = 280
    Haas avg 68 for 3 weeks (10-12) = 204

Throw in limited minutes over Origin and round 17, you'd be making up a fair chunk of points and I also think the 68 is generous to Haas who will be playing within himself when he returns for the Broncs as he won't want to double down the injury and risk missing Origin.

PLUS Lolo is a Rd 13 gun that most people will be after anyhow.. why not grab him now when he's on the cash gen and Haas is going to lose some on his return.

Don't Origin players miss round 12 when they go to camp? Or is that a figment of my imagination that I'm misremembering

Its the bye round (round 13) that they miss while they're in origin camp (origin game being on the wednesday after round 13)

Teams assemble for 'camp' generally the Monday after round 12.

Pretty much same thoughts. Already have jazz in my team and that's enough nervousness. Lolo it is. Cheers for the reply.

Ah bugger got my weeks mixed up, I was thinking Origin got played before round 13 (having Origin Wednesday, 1x Friday, 2x Saturday 1x Sunday does make much more sense in my defence)

in fairness, 2019 had it like that, the bye weeks were rounds 12 and 16, with Origins I and III being played between rounds 12-13 and 16-17 respectively, and Origin II being played between rounds 14 and 15

yeah haha I didn't bye plan at all last year (went all in on H2H) and 2020 obviously no mid season origin so that's probably why I thought that lol
