    On another note, I just saw on FB that BroJo has hyper-extended his elbow and is out for 3-4. I'm sure more will come, but damn.

    I've gone from telling myself 0 trades this week to now locking in:

    Haas -> Lolo
    BroJo -> Hastings

    TBH I feel great about it. The two coming in are likely both keepers... I say likely as Hastings plays for the Tigers... he passes the eye test and is everywhere for the Tigers, surely the first name on the sheet and seems to be the alpha of the pack.

    NVM this - saw a video from Knights physio saying BroJo just has a nerve in his elbow flared up and he's just taking a week of.

    Question regarding him now is does he retain his spot with Fitz & Barnett back?

    bigbruno wrote:I'm surprised the Haas trade out hasn't gained more legs. Prior to the news today, he's got an injury which has affected his last two games and is now taking a break.. i doubt he'll be bullet proof come next week and should it flare up again, his BE is already 80 and with an average of 60 in the next few weeks he's going to drop near 50k. Throw in Origin (I know he's normally a bench player, but he will play and further aggravate the shoulder in a more heated arena)

    I just can't see how he's going to not be below 800k come post Origin and then a bargain pickup.

    Trading him to Lolo who looks like he's found his feet again seems logical. Lolo has a good floor, great JS an average of 50 with 0 attacking returns so far.. Last 5 AVG of 56 with his fitness and minutes up.

    The only question mark has to be is it worth burning 2 trades for (Out and back in) but in the short-mid term here's the math:

    Lolo avg 56 for 5 weeks (9-13) = 280
    Haas avg 68 for 3 weeks (10-12) = 204

    Throw in limited minutes over Origin and round 17, you'd be making up a fair chunk of points and I also think the 68 is generous to Haas who will be playing within himself when he returns for the Broncs as he won't want to double down the injury and risk missing Origin.

    PLUS Lolo is a Rd 13 gun that most people will be after anyhow.. why not grab him now when he's on the cash gen and Haas is going to lose some on his return.

    Exact trade I’m doing Haas to Lolo

    I personally think trading Haas on the information we have at the moment is insanity. but what would I know, you guys know more about this stuff than I do.

    MTB what don’t you like about Tass? Yes he makes errors but offers more in attack than Milne ever will look at his fantasy stats from QLD cup and NSW cup they’re solid

    You're the expert, does he retain the spot? Staggs could carve him up.

    TPJ or Lolo

    Taumalolo for me mate. Might be some biases though. Owned him pretty much every season that I can remember and never owned TPJ or regretted it. The one time I almost brought him, I held off and he got suspended. Watching him smack someone across the back of the head last week and go on with it after a tackle makes me think he hasn't changed much.

    Those offloads though, have to admit he's mighty tempting. Just can't do it though.. playing for the Dogs, frustration will creep in and I don't think he can help himself.

    Just on Milne now he’s on the wing I’m happy I think it’s his best position and he’s a bit better than Paulo and Sauce.

    Yeah, think I'm still selling. I doubt he beats out Fitz to start, and Barnett might take him out of 17 altogether. No other obvious sells at the right price for me helps.

    I wanna play aggressive mate being ranked well I know it’s a risk but I can get him back in even if it’s for Lolo or Tohu down the line

    I don't mind the idea of selling Haas if you've got the trades. He's probably not going to be more expensive, and I think you can live without him until post Origin. He's important but I don't think he's essential like Cleary, or even Hynes.

    The other side is trickier IMO - Taumalolo is kinda safe and probably priced exactly where he should be, TPJ is risky but I think I'd prefer him to Lolo for the boom factor. iPap is the other one but also makes sense to wait until R14. Anyone else non-Origin seems like a downgrade and you need the Hass cash + 2nd trade to be an upgrade?

    Anyway, interesting play mate and you should back yourself.
